Exactly., unintentional Seeded Crop

My recollection Week 5/6 was the first pheno . Which was the densest and also standout diffferent flavor and bag appeal . The most colorful pheno even cut early

I had a couple of nanners in the Puck BX3 that I ran last winter, but no herms out of 4 plants. Killer indica smoke!

Puck BC3 x 5

Few weeks old, none showed sex yet, had to re-pot three out of their 1ltr pots into 2ltr pots and one went into final 13ltr after a punt it might be female (but who knows at this stage).

Incredible rooting on some, definately slower growth overall and the expected column like growth.

Stem rubs are your rank and dank afghanica.

I have frozen pollen from a branchy male Kandahar from The Real Seed company. That plant had almost the exact same stem rub, but stronger, get into your sinuses funk. Never tried defrosting frozen pollen before but might give it a go on a clone run after tesing the sensi.

They've all been topped, any thoughts on phenos greatly appreciated.20241226_163919.jpg20241226_163938.jpg20241226_163944.jpg

They look great! Mine usually show gender around day 32 or so, at 17/7 light cycle. I never topped mine and they naturally turned into round little bushes. I finished mine in 5 gallon pots of living soil. As for the pollen, I have had great success using frozen pollen! I use pint jars with a packet or 2 in each jar in parchment paper and a couple of desiccant packs. When I am ready to pollinate I pull out a jar or 2 and put them from the freezer into the fridge. After a few hours in the fridge I put the jars out at room temp for another couple of hours. I don't want the super cold pollen to cause moisture to condensate on it and ruin it. And once I pull out pollen I don't try to refreeze it.

Superb, thanks for the tips on the pollen, much appreciated.

Beautiful flower, chem anyone?!

How did you find the smoke? Much difference between phenos?
The smoke is really consistent between the 4 phenos, the one with the lemon pledge furniture cleaner aroma is my favorite though! My 4 plants were so similar they could have been clones, but they were all grown from seed. I'll probably grow a Crickets and Cicadas selection at least once a year from now on. This is classic fire!

Great to know, thanks. There's a guy on overgrow grew 5 and his favourite was also the lemon cleaner pheno. Something to look out for.

Sounds like he did a good job on the back crossing selections.

I have a bubba x puck bc2 that is now moving closer and closer to the front of the line of seeds to pop next. I popped bubba S1, irene kush x bubba, katsu bubba x bubba the other week. Hoping to make a bubba line I can hunt through. We had good bubba when I was younger so I'm familiar with what to look for but I'm curious how that would mix with puck, a lemon pledge bubba sounds dank as hell

Yours look superb, this is one consistant batch of seeds these BC3s.

I read somewhere 'f2's of these bc3 seeds can produce finicky, sickly seedlings, perhaps due to interbreeding depression. Of course they wouldn't be f2s due to the work done to date (BC4s?).

Suggesting using the BC3 as a base and crossing to a different strain from here would be the way forward to increase seed stock. I'm going to hang onto any males for that reason, I won't be able to bring myself to cull them!

I intentionally pollinate every plant I grow, indoors and outdoors. Feels like some kind of duty.
