I was thinking the same thing, any M1 vs a mini 14. I like the larger caliber mostly. Not dissing the mini but why not go for the Socom 16 with an Eothech red dot with the .308 reticle?
With mine i can shoot a bowling ball every shot at 100yds and still shoot out to 300. With the reddot on the picatinny rail i can still use stripper clips if I want. With a scope I can’t. And is the same with the mini.
Aint no zombie gonna get past me lol. Love my standard loaded m1a too though. But like I said I have nothing against the mini, at least it’s still based off the same action. I just like bigger. If you’re stuck on the Mini have you considered the Mini Thirty?
Unfortunately we can’t have a folding stock or pistol grip on these rifles here in Ca, but that would be cool.I was thinking the same thing, any M1 vs a mini 14. I like the larger caliber mostly.
The stainless "A-team mini" with folding stock would be the exception for me.
My first bike was a 1968 Honda ps 50. I got it in 1970. Suddenly girls wanted a ride on the pillion seat, so my experience was different. I was 12. My first taste of freedom.Mopeds are like fat chicks - fun to ride, but you wouldn't want your friends to see you on one...
I just sorta dug one up out of the garageYou looking for target shooting, hunting or home protection ? I have a couple Ruger's and they've been good rifles.

Monkey fucking a football is what we always described that as.You ever see a fat/big guy on a moped? Yeah, that's not the look I'm going for lol.
My first bike was a Honda CB 450 with the ugly chrome and black tank but someone had swapped it to a brown 750 tank with the gold stripe. I bought my brothers Triumph 650 after about a year and a half. It was interesting swapping back and forth riding the two because the shifters and brakes were on opposite sides. There was a little bump at the edge of our driveway that would enable me to chirp the tire when pulling in. I had been riding the Triumph for awhile and when I did that with the Honda I jumped on the shifter instead of the brake to stop before the garage door, using a front brake only is not recommended. I kinda bent the door stop a bit when I hit it but luckily it didn't hit that hard. Had to look around to see if anyone saw me do that...My first bike was a 1968 Honda ps 50. I got it in 1970.
