They have trainers and nutritionists, etc. A lot of boxers look that way as they have also lost weight to make the weigh in. Work out like a demon and cut weight and folk look well sculpted. Heavyweights are an exception. Fury is about the least fit looking champion that I’m aware of. Not questioning his fitness, though he generally looks like he’s carrying a bit extra.

They eat well and do cardio daily. Boxing is mostly cardio. Also, steroids, but I'm not judging.

I don't judge either. Everyone decides for himself what to do with his body. But very interesting. Just heard a lot of stories about athletes taking various steroids, hormones, etc. I do not claim that everything is without exception, but the boys' bodies are so muscular and embossed that it seems as if they were painted or photoshopped. It just look even a little bit unnatural.

It's hard to pin where Fury is at. He sat out a large chunk of his prime with mental health issues and hasn't fought many of his contemporaries. I think he's on the downswing from all of his wars and fighting light footed with so much extra weight. Usyk is past his physical prime, but the technique and Ukrainian boxing pedigree he brings to heavyweight, as a naturally smaller fighter, will give him longevity, until it doesn't.
I think Fury can win, but I like Usyks odds. If either man has meaningfully slowed or lost their chin, this is where we find out.

I'm not counting Usyk out, he has a really good chance of winning. Especially if Fury has lost a step or hasn't trained properly.
The first fight Fury was boxing pretty well and hurt Usyk. I feel if he can do that all 12 rds he can win. Big if going against someone who doesn't waste punches and is always in shape.
Maybe I just want a trilogy

Finally had a chance to watch Usyk Fury 2.
Again it was a great fight and really close, could of gone either way.
I think Fury made it easier for Usyk this time around by coming forward. Don't think he needed even to do that, all he had to work on is not getting hit with that left hand.
All respect and props to Usyk, the guy is the best HW of this era.

I think coming in heavy was a massive mistake. Banking on knocking out a man who's never been knocked down was also a big tactical error.

Thought he was playing mind games when I heard that. Bad decision being Dubois and AJ couldn't drop him, don't know why they thought he could.

Joshua makes the most sense for this stage of their careers. I wouldn't be shocked if he fights Ngannou again and tries to make a point in actually showing up prepared.

He really doesn't have that much left to prove. Like TB said Joshua would be a great fight to cash out with, plus I feel the UK fans deserve it for waiting so long.
Ngannou rematch actually sounds interesting, wouldn't mind seeing a motivated Fury this time.

I think Fury is a true wildcard. He will do whatever he wants. Hell, if HW has a lul in talent maybe he will come back in 10 years and pull a foreman.
I know, I know, wild speculation.
We are entering the twilight of a golden age that imo started with Joshua vs Klitschko, and I'm not sure there's talent to pick up the mantle. Hopefully the 0 in the loss colum falls by the way of great fighters fighting each other younger and more often. The only trilogies we got were Fury vs Wilder and Canelo vs Triple G, and while they were mostly memorable, they were also blemished with atrocious judging.

I agree, that the whole fascination with keeping that 0 that Mayweather championed has caused us to miss out on a lot of good matches.
Still might be some good boxers at HW. Martin Bakole looks to be a handful of anyone and maybe Jai Opetaia might move up in a few years and pull a Usyk.
