Hi new here, it's been a while since I've grown a plant and got a setup now so I'm starting again. Now I've got a few mad seeds auto's and they just won't sprout? I'm using cotton balls in darkness above the stove in a cupboard. They just won't sprout. Have I forgotten something or am I going mad?

cotton balls will hold too much water, take them out and put them into a plastic sealing baggie and let them germ if they will still. give it a try

there should be enough moisture in the seed shell after this amount of time

Id use paper towels rather than cotton or just germinate them in the dirt with a heat mat if you ain't got one it's worth getting in the future mate

Well if you're here it's likely you are running mad please just plant them in a substrate like @MickFoster suggested. Just like you would corn or tomatoes or any other plant.

+1 for just planting them. A semi clear plastic cup can be placed on top to maintain humidity if the climate is dry.

Unknown? Got them donated by a friend. I'll have ask him. I'm not even sure if he stored them correctly B4 I got them.

I'll try that. Been like 15 plus years since I last sprouted any. I remember it being much easier then...
