Looking for Seed Advice

I'll be starting a grow in October and I was hoping for some help from experienced growers.
I have very specific requirements.
Either Barney's Farm, Greenhouse Seeds, or RQS.
Low leaf to calyx ratio.
Obviously high THC.
I don't want real dense buds or plants with one main cola. Although the huge colas are eye candy........not my style.
My last grow was Barney's Farm Gelato and it was very potent. I don't care if it's high yield.......just high quality.

Thanks.

if you don't want one huge cola, imo top early, i don't tend to top my autos, they get the massive 1 cola and 4 side cola's most of the grows

I'm in a similar situation but I'll be starting in about a month.

High THC - when I started growing, that was a big issue for me but I've picked up over the years that a lot of growers don't see it that way. One reason, perhaps, is that a well done grow means that there's so much weed that it's not an issue but there's also the terpenes/taste issue.

Just an observation, not preaching (about this, anyway :-) ).

One high THC strain that comes to mind for THC is Bruce Banner. That's a sativa and weighs in at 32%.

I've used Barney's Farm and had good results. I've also grown Gelato from Nirvana and things turned out well. The only time I've had seeds plotz on me was Back to the Future from Fastbuds(?) Total failure.

No experience with Greenhouse or RQS though they both have a good reputation from what I see. Have you looked into Ethos? I think they're considered a high end source. Once you get past the trippy pages on the web site, their product pages look excellent (though that doesn't mean that the seeds excellent, granted).

For smaller colas, how about a lanky sativa (longer internodal space), and cut back on the percentage of blue light in veg by adding supplemental red lights? I use Spider R80's and have no complaints. A grower on "another forum" where we're members ran his HLG R Spec from drop to chop and ended up with the results that you're looking for.

After some discussions chatGPT, I switched from Barney's Gelato to their Blue Gelato 41.

Just my tuppence.

Thanks for your insight. Have you grown Blue Gelato 41?

MickFoster, look into any or all auto genetics by.
1) Mephisto
2) Night Owl
3) Speedrun.
Genetics is key to success. I run a 5 x 5 and use a HLG Tomahawk led bar light. I'm not all about yields either, but last 4 runs, none came in under a pound. Any of the 3 breeders will check all boxes.

Why those breeders?
They work their lines very well. A ton of experience in are involved with all 3 that I mentioned. Some of the most powerful weed I have smoked. Granite Haze from Speedrun is off the chart and is their Flagship. Highly recommend. Night Owl if you buy from their drops, you get seeds before the seed banks get em. Very good smoke. Mephisto Double Grape is top shelf, can't say enough. All 3 give you extra seeds with purchase.
