I know this post is a lil old, but if you read this, try reading some of your regular thc bud. Does that get you high? I bet not.

My regular THC bud definitely gets me high.....when I buy THCa, there's some that gets me high, but it's limited....like I smoke a gram and I'm high but if I smoke more I don't get any higher....whereas with regular THC, the more I smoke the higher I feel.
THCa is a capped high (which is why the government doesn't care if it's legal).....if they gave normal weed to ppl during legalization you'd have ppl that can't handle it ...that's not the case with THCa because it's a reduced, limited high....my fucking grandpa who's never smoked weed can smoke some THCa and he'd be ok....if he smoked my regular weed he may piss himself ...see the difference?

Just try eating raw bud of your regular thc. I guarantee it will not get you high. Decarb it first though, then it will.

The point youre missing is, all d9 thc , starts as thca. It converts to d9 thc when decarbed.

The point you're all missing is nobody said this until this whole THCA push of the last 5 or so years....and who started explaining it? Dispensaries and scientists and known faces of the "industry".......you know, the people with the most to gain financially by pushing a product and/or agenda....
I'm sorry, but I don't believe a fucking word of it because my EXPERIENCE has been completely different. So has many other ppls experience.
THCa when smoking has that hempy-flavor that isn't in my homegrown weed....was never in the street weed in the early 2000s.....so whered this added flavor come from? Its because they're selling fucking hemp for 60/8th lol

It trips me out that weed smokers worldwide have never trusted the government.....but they all wanna trust the government and these millionaires/billionaires that own these dispensaries that never smoked when it was illegal to tell you what you're smoking or what you should be smoking? Na, fuck that. I know what real weed is and in 2925 it's hard as fuck to find. THCa has ruined weed.

Because eating and smoking weed are two completely different things.
Why to be THCa does it need to be grown in different conditions or picked early?
When did it become acceptable to pick bud that isn't ready and sell it at full price?
Bud that is picked too early isn't fully developed and will be WEAK.
Take a strain I had recently in THCa form, Cinderella 99......I LOVE normal Cinderella 99, it's incredible pineapple or pineapple haze flavor, the racey high and I find it to be incredibly potent........THCa Cinderella 99 had no pineapple flavor, just kind of hempy with a slight citrus.....no racy high at all.....barely any high at all (no potency).....so THCa basically took a strain I love and removed everything I love about it......yet I'm supposed to say it's the same thing? No, because it isn't. It's been bred for THCa, changing the chemical compound of the strain and thus changing its flavor, potency and high.....
So explain to me how THCa gives the same effects and flavors being it's the same as normal weed.......you can't because it's not the same.

I may not have the funding or access to a true lab to conduct experiments and testing myself.....but I do have over 25 years of weed smoking experience and it doesn't take a genius to tell you the weed isn't the same as it was even ten years ago.....and I'm not talking about it being better, because it's not

Yes I tried some that did get me high then later figured out I couldn't get ANY higher than that off of THCa, no matter what
Whereas regular weed I could easily get higher than what that THCa made me feel.
Who do you consider a pro? Someone that works for a dispensary? I would consider 25+ years smoking a pro tbh, I trust my ability to tell what something is that I'm smoking moreso than a dispensary worker or someone with less smoking experience for sure.
Theres no issue with the genetics ....if I homegrow some cookies, I get a much better experience than buying some cookies from a store.....there are good things in those newer genetics. But I do get what you're saying
But again, I'm not a Gelato smoker lol ...I seek out strains that I love that may not be considered popular....and when I find them in THCa form I've been let down EVERY damn time....it isn't the fucking same

But it is. The fact that you only learned of the existence of thca does not mean that nobody knew. It was discovered in the 1960s. It has been fact for ages. So you are absolutely wrong. Once you accept that, we can talk about all the reasons most legal flower isn't ever great.
