This is what i plan on doing for my 09 grow. Please correct me if something is incorrect, and any suggestions would be great;y appreciated. so im guerrilla growing in the woodlands south of where i live, i live in northeastern usa. I plan on starting around 30 plants outdoor in little cups at the end of april. I will plant the 10 best looking plants into 5 gallon buckets and scattering them around in 1 plot. The other plants i will just put in crops of 3 or 5 and scatter them around the woods. I am growing with bagseed from random good bud ive smoked. This is my first grow, any help is apperciated

My suggestion to you is that you buy 5 gallon grow bags instead of pots. Because they are a hell of a lot cheaper and your planting them in the ground anyway. When you plant the 5 gallon bag just cut it with a razor knife and pull away the plastic.viola! Other then that I would really give the area you choose considerable thought. Rippers Fucking Suck

The other thing i was wondering about was when do i gve them nutrients and when can i give them brown sugar

That depends on your specs.
What kind of soil are you using? Are you going to leave them in the pots? What is your method of watering these outdoor plants?
Will they be on top a hill? Is there a river nearby? How does the soil feel about 2 feet deep? dry/moist?

You have to take many things into consideration. The easiest way is,
to find a spot that is close to the water-table. Then dig you a deep hole and use soil that has timed released fertilizers in it.
Then you won't need to worry about water or fertilizers, just Thieves!

Sure Shot, sounds to me that you've had the unfortunate experince of rippers...? I'll toke one down for the lost ladies.:joint:

i got scotts premium gardening soil. I was planning on filling the buckets or bags whatever i decide to use with it. It doesnt have time release fert in it. But would it just be easier to clear out a spot on the ground, dig a hole about 1 1/2 feet deep and 5 by 5 across in the ground, in the woods, and just fill it to the top with the storebought soil? Or would i need to dig a big ass hole 3 ft deep and 5 x5 across and fill the whole thing with soil? And yes there is a good sized stream about 10 yards away. but its not too far away from where i live(bad, but its not my property) and if i had to i could bring my own water. The nutrients for flowering i havent got yet, since im not starting till may. But what could i use that is avalable at lowes or home depot?, the closest store that sells stuff for growing weed and weed only is about a hour drive. I could buy nutes off the internet if someone could lead me to which ones, trying to keep it cheap grow. thanks:bigjoint:

I would say two feet deep would be enough.
I've heard of guys using MiracleGro soil with good results. It has time released ferts and should be easy to find. I would recommend the organic version they sell. If there is a river that close you may never need to water. You'll see what I mean when your two feet deep into the ground. The walls of your hole will most likely be damp if not wet. Which means your plant will have a constant pure water source full of goodies.

sounds good. This was my original plan before the buckets idea came to me. This is wha i was growing my last crop so i kno itll work.

Also before i got the bucket idea, i went back to the spot and started to try and turn the soil and mix up the layers, and it was dry as a dessert on the top, but it was insanly moist about 8 inches deep. Ill go buy some miracle grow soil and mix it up in the hole with the other soil.

But could you tell me what are some good nute that i can use from lowes or home depot?

if your gonna order nutes from the internet i recommend Advanced Nutrients, Heavy Harvest which is a time release capsule fert...and a very good one at that

u would only have to visit your plant 3 times until harvest..check it out man

Hulknugs the plants i had before a damn bastard stole them were about 5 feet tall, and you could smell them, but only if you were looking for them. So if i were you id plant several patches of 3-4 plants. So if the cops or a ripper finds them, on plot, hell prolly think thats all there is and have no reason to keep searching.

when i get started ill share my progress on a growjournal thread.

I would like to know 2 more things.
Can i use this fertilizer below?

Where can i but 1/2 inch hydrolic tubing and how to i "charge" the line with water without electric?

For info on damage caused by chemical ferts, see soilfoodweb.com, click on the tea brewing manual to show that chemical ferts kills the microbial life in your soil. A plant can fight off natural pest & ailments if the soil is "living". IE; Good fungi & bacteria. Further info can be seen at www.ATTRA.org, Deuleysown.com, Dirt Doctor.com, and Captain Compostalabama.com.
On the index found at the Dirt Doctor, some very interesting info can be found about Aloe Vera (shit regenerates plants !!), Seaweed (shit kills spider mites etc), cornmeal, fish emulsion and Garrett Juice. You can make your on or buy it. Your local Nursery will have good shit, not the box store shit. Also check out "Green Sand" and Zeolite. (That shit is a natural nute release and a soil balancer.) Good luck.

if i were to get a fert with an NPK of 10-10-10 and it says to use 1/2 cup per square yard. So if my garden is 6x3 i use 1 cup of this. Then it says twice a week so then on monday and friday. I got vigoro tomato fert and its 10-10-10 and i kno that i ve heard anything that grows tomatoes well will also grow the herb well.

Is there anyway i could make my own earth bag? If i were to fill a black garbage bag with 1 1/1 cubic feet of soil, and then wrap it tight and go around it with a blowtorch to tighten the bag. Then pop a few holes in the bottom? Is that a good idea, the stores charge fucking 30 buks for a 2 cubic footer where this would be around 50 for soil and 5 buks for the trashbags, already got the torch.
