Fan leaves curling under

My imaginary fan leaves seem to be curling under. If I was really growing, I would be around 33 days into flowering.

Any ideas? My SO is against posting imaginary pics.

If you want help here then stop with all the "imaginary" bs. You are growing plants or you wouldn't be asking for help. List all the information about your grow and post pics. If that doesn't work for you or your SO then go buy a book or read the GrowFAQs here.

People here can't help you with what you posted.

Sorry, I have seen other people post this way.

After being here for the past few days it is apparent that I do not know what I am doing. I have 1 plant in a small closet with a 400 HPS and a drip hydropoinics system. I am using General Hydroponics Flora grow, Flora Micro and Flora bloom. I had the door shut on it and found out in the past few days that I needed to have a fan on it. I opened the door to the closet while the light is on and am using the ceiling fan in the small bedroom to regulate the heat. I also did a water change yesterday, for the first time ever.

I started her out in my Aero garden and switched her over to the HPS at the end of Novemeber on a 12/12.

What is the temp in the closet when the light is on?

What is the PPM in the res? What is the PH?
What is the Res temp?

No earthy idea on any of those questions. I would say that the temp now is in the 70s where as before the closet was hot as hell, she seemed to be thriving tho.

I am headed out to my local hydroponics shop in a few.

Would it shock her to change nuts right now? I want to change her over to organic nuts.

it could be over watered if the fan leaves are curling is the drip system running when the lights are off?

Yes, it is running when the lights are off. Should I plug the pump into my timer as well?

It is the tips of the leaves that are curling, I do not have any discoloration.

Can I change nuts?

I got this system many moons ago at a hydro shop that is not in business anymore. I am leaving now to go to a new one.

Can you answer if it will be okay to change nuts mid bloom?

OK.... well that's the first problem. I'm not being mean here when I tell you this but there is no way in hell you can grow mj HYDROPONICALLY with success if you don't know the basics and have the tools to measure the 1)res temp 2) PH 3) PPM. Hydro is A LOT less forgiving then soil and you have to be right on top of PH, PPM and water temp.... there is simply no way around it...

Now... since you have a local hydro shop I'd ask you this... can you afford a PH/PPM/Temp meter? (they are around $140 - $200 depending on model.) If you can't afford that then I'd suggest you pull those plants out of the hydro system and get them in soil. Once you read up a little more on Hydro and get a proper meter then you can try another hydro grow.

Who knows.... your tap water could even be unsuitable for hydro (mine is). If that's they case you will need a RO machine or bottled distilled water. See the thing is... without a meter you really just won't know.

Sorry.... I KNOW that's not what you wanted to hear... but it is the truth... I know because I had big problems when I started growing hydro without a meter and bad tap water.

You are simply going to be throwing money at a problem that you haven't even diagnosed. I'm betting your PH and PPM are way off.... you won't know without a meter. Forget about changing nutes... that's not the problem... the problem is your PH and/or PPM. Get a meter or move them to soil.

well for right now at least you need a ph tester and follow the back of the bottle a have a tester a meter and the same nutes you are using so got to the shop and get a ph tester how big is the plant right now

Do not be dismayed.... every single person on this forum started at some point without any information. You chose to go with a hydro grow out the gate and hydro is definitely harder then soil when it comes to plants surviving while you learn

I did the same thing.... I went hydro from the get go and I killed my first 2 batches of plants. Eventually I learned.... got the right tools and I've had great success since. Of course I still run into problems on occasion... all growers do, but the more you learn, the easier it is to figure out the problem and fix it.

If you want to stick with hydro then start with a proper PH/PPM/Temp meter. Best money you will spend. :)
