FF is just idiot-proof.. Not many of the big-boys shell out for it because they can do as well without it.. My Air-Jordans never let me jump any higher..:)
Thing with mylar, to get the 95% reflection it needs to be installed perfectly.. Crinkles can bounce a ton of that light all over the place.. Flat white paint can reach about 85% reflectivity, and its not like working with a wet paper bag..
Right, never can get it perfectly tight.
 I Wonder, if using an adhesive to apply the mylar to a panel like you use would work better. Spread out adhesive, lay mylar, smooth out wrinkles with a ruler, or yard stick? Then install panels like walls!!!!

Yes exactly, you pretty much need to.. But large areas are still nearly impossible.. Best bet would be to hunt for some of that thin wooden panelling everybody used to have in their basement rec-rooms.. Its lightweight, and you could cover it on the floor before installing the panels..

With heat the mylar will eventually bubble, be careful of where you place it when you use adhesive to attach mylar.

I recommend the adhesive used for car head liner application.

I had small panels fairly close to the lights (extensions off the reflector wing etc) and never noticed a problem.. I attached it to extremely sturdy card-board using a homemade starch paste.. What did you use? And how liquid like is that liner adhesive you recomend? I went with a starch paste because it can be made nearly as thin as water, you can cover the entire surface 100% smoothly to avoid bubbles/lumps, and you can adjust the mylar with very little adhesive friction while its still wet.. Oh, I also reenforced the edges with ducts tape.. I can see how heat could make a minor flaw much worse..
My paste held up over multiple crops btw..

Nice, the spray adhesive I use is more like a spray tack. Not very liquid, I would lay the mylar like I was applying window tint and smooth with a credit card. I use duct tape on the ends too. I was too lazy to do it to my last boxes so I just draped it.

So your using something like watered down elmer's glue?

Do you have any pictures? I'm curious and may have to give that a try.

Its kind of like that.. Ever do paper mache? Like that stuff.. I think I used only flour for that, but I've made an assortment of pastes for various things over the years so I could be wrong.. Homemade pastes are pretty basic, and as long as you have even adhesion with mylar (which is what the liquid makes simple) you're good to go as long as you prevent edge tears.. Homemade pastes can have some serious holding potential, but mylar is so light that that is irrelevent.. Even adhesive application is the key, so I made it really runny and applied it when it was still warm.. After applying it just looked like I'd spilled chalky water all over the cardboard..
So I laid down the mylar, evened it all out, then put a scrap piece of drywall on it and a few paint cans for good compression (the key to all adhesives).. I may have been in a rush on that, but typically I like to be patient when gluing anything, and usually leave it under pressure atleast overnight to dry..

Very nice grow he has, and am very willing to listen to him for advise.
Thanks beech!

I trimmed off the rest over the course of the last week, two one day one or two the next. This is what it looks like now.

:!:-Will this be okay to finish out the next 2-3 weeks:?: maybe more:?:

Plant #7(problem)

Same as plant 5 but a little smaller. You think this one could come down early?

I just really wanna get it out the way, and move my WW mother over.
I got clones off her, so this plant is really in the way.

If i pull it, will it be nasty or should i flush it again and hope for the best?
Just flushed yesterday, but next time i water?

Here is my PPP mother: Pics 1-4

Will take clones today or next day. when they root, i'll throw this one into flower.

Pics 5-11

These are the WW mother, i've took 11 clones from her with two showing roots in 8-9 days. One of these two will be what i pull the next round of clones from. I want to flower this one in another week or so.

:!:Also, it is showing me some minor problems. See the leaves tips, and edges(light yelow edge,w/ green middles), some browning going on too:?:
Your thoughts? I flushed her with the rest on tuesday, maybe it will be better soon from that.....

The last 4 are of the WW clones in the "Clone Dome", w/ perilite under the inside tray. Thank Jorge for the tip!!!! I'll be buying another dome set to house my PPP clones i take off in a few days.

IMO its past the point of no return,i would get the WW in there.

Yea, it won't earn its spot in the light if you have others waiting for space.. Just a REALLY bad time for that stress.. Might be a good learning experience to follow it through in a corner though..

Looking good Lil Maf. Looks like your learning the ropes well. Your clones look mighty healthy!

Looks like you will be pumping up your yields with all of the new knowledge you have picked up along the way.

That's whay I thought, it's just wasting space. My WW clones have solid roots shooting out every where on three clones. I know i'll have good plants from those three alone to pull future clones from. Ok, 1 vote for pull it!

Well, i guess that makes 2 votes for pulling it out. I guess it's official!
By learning experience, do you mean i should let it go in a corner out the way, and practice drying and curing on it? That' was my plan, to get a head start with it on drying to work out any kinks i might have in the drying room.
Thanks Guys!!!

Took ten PPP clones and put them in my new clone dome setup next to the other one. That makes 11 WW and 10 PPP three weeks apart in cutting.
This way i can find the good WW's in the group, get them going, then weed out the weak ones. Then do the same on PPP and get a nice mixed harvest!!:weed:
Lucy is getting so fat, i'm about to sign her ass up for Jenny Craig.
Cryptonite is so shiny and sparkly, i need sunglasses to look at her! She's one hot lady!!! Today makes almost 7 weeks in flower for all the numbered plants(2,4,6,7), and i took a small lower branch off number 6. It was under another bud, the one on top was bigger so i got it out the way! It is isn't much, maybe get a bowl out of it, but it's about 7 weeks in, so we'll see how it goes.
Got it drying now so i'l let ya' know how it taste, prob. like ass!!!:hump:

No, I meant for merely watching it recover.. Premature buds SUCK.. If you can let it go longer without depriving anything healthy of quality light I'd do that.. That plant has lost its right to sit in any choice location though..
