I feed mice to my snake every few days. Fallen soldiers weekly over here.

I don't think anyone is feeling sorry for him....some are showing compassion. It doesn't matter what the circumstances are, he lost a pet. He is sad, he comes here because we don't judge anyone here. Not even you.
I used to feed between five and seven mice at once to my Cali King every friday so he could have a fun time hunting down and murdering them. Monty was my favorite lil' carnivorebeen crying the whole time man.......... I dont know how he die'd.. he was acting funny yesterday.
I just cant believe how he roll0d over himselfi was stroking him, and he died

Hey D man, I feel very sad for you... pets are people too....
Sadly they tend not to live as long as we do leaving us with the hard job of carrying on.
I think the realy sad part of it is how at some level it reminds us of our own mortality...
I think if he was happy and fed every day, you did your part.

loads of great replys, it wasnt just a mouse.. let me tell u that..
It was my friend, he was allways around me, on my table... eating food out my fingers, letting me rub his head and let him sleep, its all about love man.
Now, i was never such a guy, but man .... this blew me away, so much pain. SO MUCH.....
And the reason i got one of these mice was to give em a shot of a real good life, without being pinched by the tail and being eating by some snake that shouldnt be in your apartment or house anyways, mice are.... they live off people.. snakes dont.

I have lost animals that were much harder to deal with than some of my relatives that have passed away. + ReP to ANC for words of wisdom; you did your part to make that mouse life full of joy & happiness.
