hey doc any idea on waight loss when drying bud? this last harvest put out 110 gams of wet bud per plant.
 
hey quick question if i am doing a seed run with the auto varieties will the seeds take longer to mature than the ten weeks required for bud? thanks

On the airpump, I'm not sure about the wattage, but there should be a GPH or LPH (gallons/liters per hour) rating that tells you how much airflow...

I'm not sure about the 100W it varies depending on the pump.


I'd recommend going overkill, and getting a 50-60 dollar industrial type pump from the hydro store... You can't have too much air.

If its the only thing you can find then use it as top soil and water in.

i dont care wut u guys think of me. y would i read through a 50 page forum for a piece of info wen i could just go post a question in a sub forum get my answer and be off in search of sumthing else. but no this guy says hey u guys ask me all ur questions, are we suppose to assume ur the almighty weed grower on this forum? i think ur dumb for making a one manned forum on a great forum filled with newbs, medical growers and so on. y do u want the spotlight
 
Hey there big chief. Think your confused RIU is a forum. The doc has a Q and A thread going it that forum.This thread is great, ask the Q get the A. The doc has helped me and many others with this thread. If you want gen.info hit the faq. it will work for you. But don't flame the Doc's thread becouse you don't understand what it is.
 
So I came accross this forum earlier today and it talked about adding blueberry, pomergranate and grape extracts in very small amounts to your resevoir during flowering to give your buds a nice but suttle taste of your choice. It didn't make sense to me because I had never heard anything about it but it made a little sense. Has anyone ever heard of this or experimented with like techniques?

If you have beneficials in your res the natural sugars from the above extracts will help feed them--But other than that plants don't assimilate sugars and transfer the same esters or smells/taste to the bud.
 
Doc,

Just needed a little advice. My plants are on 12/12 (400 watt hps) and I have been flowering for 2 weeks. Since the beggining of flowering I have been feeding the plants 5-50-17 every other watering, and molasses every watering.

My questions is, should I add tiger bloom and big bloom to the feeding as well, or should I just feed them big bloom and tiger bloom without the fert 5-50-17?

Also, how much molasses would you reccomend? I have been feeding 1 tsp every watering.
