I just finished drying some of my Belladonna and figured that I should contribute some pics. I love this shit. It has such a distinct taste to me.

I crossed the Belladonna with my RomulanXCotton Candy. I can't wait till those seeds are finished and they can hit some dirt.

I have been observing the Trichomes and so far it looks like there are about 20-40% None of the hairs are brown. Cloudy, the rest clear. There are short and tall trics, and I think the plant needs another 4-8 more days till I harvest it. I want majority of them to be cloudy. No Amber. I want it to be energetic and clear headed. And I belive this is a 60% Sativa 40% Indica, so harvesting when cloudy and not amber is the goal.

Any one else think I should change this? What does herb to when its just clear trichs, not very potent?

Is there a time table comparison on pistol hairs turning brown vs. trichomes going from clear to cloudy to amber?

I hear ya on not wanting complete couch lock. The first stuff I grew would put me to sleep. Sometimes in the morning before work lol. I choped this last one down when it was just starting to turn amber. I could see just a few ambers in there but all cloudy. Only half the hairs turned so the buds look interesting but the high is what I was going for

Clear trichs are inactive. Ya have to wait for them to turn cloudy before the canabanoids in them are activated. THC is still present from my understanding though just not enhanced by the canabanoids.

Don't worry, you'll know when the trichs are cloudy, and you won't need a scope to see it either. It's very noticeable. My curing Belladonna is almost finished. It is fantastic!

I didn't let mine go until it was completely amber either. If your hairs haven't started to turn yet then you have more then 8 days until harvest. Wait until the hairs are at least 50% amber. You won't have to worry about the trichs turning amber before the hairs do, so wait that out a bit longer. How long have you been in flower for now?

Just a heads up. I have just turned some Bells into flower a few weeks ago and two have gone hermie. I'm finding that if conditions aren't ideal they like to hermie themselves. Just keep a close eye on your plants to make sure you're alright. I check all my plants daily so I'm catching them right when they start to grow some balls.

Here are some pics of mine about a week before I harvested. The last pic got a lot of the hps light, but really shows the trichs. I took that one when I was taking her down.

My next batch I have going through right now I'm going to let it go all the way through until the trichs are amber and see the difference in potency then. In theory I have 20 days left, but I think that it's going to go longer then that. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks a lot for all the good info. My buds def. do not look like that yet, but close. Mine are passed 7 weeks. I think 8 1/2 weeks is what it will be. Will update with pics once I start to see amber pussy hairs, and cloudy salivating trixz!

Since you got clones anyway hack them down when they look killer. You will find that they do get really funky smelling if you let them go a little longer. How are the hairs looking, are you still producing plenty of white hairs?. I look at the production of new white pistils as an indicator of the plants life cycle. Your going to love the belladonna. Wait till I load my 14 holer with the Bella, there will be stink.

This Muay Smoke dude is really showing some good Bella nuggage, very inspirational. Got another fence post aero nft up and operational, got 8 of the holes filled. I have made clones of the Belladonna, Blue Cheese, and White Russian. I was too lazy to tag a lot of my clones so I don't know what mother plant or strain it is until I grow it out.

Pacifico, that's the shit. There is a bar, On Revolucion street in Tijuana, It's called Rio Rita. They have buckets of beer, sitting in ice with little beer cap poppers on the side, 6 at a time, ooh la la. I would probably avoid TJ right now because getting my head cut off would suck.

Anyways, will be harvesting on day 60 looks like. Which is to the T compared to the seed co. Lookin mighty tasty! I can't wait to sample it.

I should have it dry enough by next weekend for the vaporizer. Once its fully cured in about 2 more weeks, I can do a nice Smoke Report and review. Keep your eyes peeled!

Bud trees I say. They look like little dreadlocks coming out of the ground. Cool shit this hydro stuff. I can't believe how fast these things grow in hydro. I'm going to use "flora clean" for my flush phase and I also got some stuff called "sweet". The sweet is citrus flavor and contains cane sugar I will be using that trying to get that special taste smell. I got a couple of buds off a buddy yesterday and was amazed with the taste and smell of the shit, I'm wondering if it was the actual weed or maybe they are using a final additive such as "sweet"?

The sweet works ok, but next time around I would suggest some GH Flora Nectar or AN sweetleaf.

The sweet is only like .1% cane sugar (yes point one percent), where as the flora nectar is like 17% cane sugar, plus mollases and another kind of sugar. You will get a much "sweeter" taste with the GH and AN products.

And if you are looking to add carbohydrates go with AN carboload.

And just so you know, the berry and citrus are just the aroma of the nutes, it doesn't make your stuff taste like berry or citrus.

If you flush in the dark, you will flush the medium but not the plants.

In the dark period the plants are using very little is any water/nutes. You are not only trying to flush medium, but you also want the water inside the plants to be nute free.

Give you plants a flush in the light. I grow in soil and use that flora kleen stuff. It works well. The guy at my hydro shop said they had that stuff running in their system for like 2hrs and already started to get yellowing of the plants. I don't know if they were BSing me, but thats what they told me.

I have never flushed in hydro, but in soil it takes me about 10-14 days of flush to get yellowing.
