Nope.I hoped you used some rooting gel or rooting powder for your clones!
Thanks man, I'm trying to be optimistic about this.Sorry to hear about your loss. On my last grow in the AG, one of my plants did the same thing, not really sure why.
Good luck with the clones and other plant, it's still lookin nice.
Ha ha. The Wal-mart around me must know that lots of people grow or something around here because cloning powder was one of the first things out on the shelves when the garden section went back to gardening instead of Christmas stuff.Got it at walmart.
Pretty nifty for $2. Came with 10 cubes, a lid and the base.
I was really hoping they would have rooting gel or powder, or some kind of rooting agent in the plant section, but there wasn't anything, just these peat starter tray things.
I saved 6 of the cubes for later, you just pour water on them and they puff up.
I have one fan leaf in nothing but water, and the other 2 are in the peat cubes. Going to see if either of them root.
If they do I'm going to play around with it and chop 3 of the 5 tips to see if they will actually sprout from the fresh calyx. Doubt much will happen but we'll see.
I'm banking on the main cola I chopped.
Yeah my plant died last time. It looked like yours but alot more brown and it was shedding and shit. Then one day I checked and it had snapped and fallen over. Thanks man, I'm trying to be optimistic about this.
The only thing that bothers me is that I don't even know what it is, if its root rot or something else.
I would like to know how to prevent this in the future if I can.
Did your plant that this happened to die or did it pull through?
I had problems shedding seed on that plant, and the leaves grew really funky, so I guess somewhere in the mix I had a fucked up stem and now it had gotten to the point where it couldn't get enough shit to the rest of the plant through that bottleneck.
My other plant has a bottleneck but its not as bad and its been thickening up, this one didn't do shit but turn brown and die.
My light timer is set for 8 am/pm, going to clean my res and put fresh water/tigerbloom mix in there this afternoon.
So, I have been dealing with what I am going to assume is stem rot issues on my OG fast plant.
After a few days it started getting worse and worse and I could tell that the plant wasn't getting nutrients from the roots since the stem was dead in the middle, I made the split decision to chop her, and take as many clones as I could.
Rest in Pieces Seed #1
I'm going to be mourning the loss of my plant all day...
Here are some pictures of the problem, nobody was able to help me out at all except someone who told me that I had an air bubble in my clone, which is impossible because this plant was grown from seed.
I have my clones sitting in a humid dome in some peat cubes on my windowsill.
I also popped my last seed into a peat cube and stuck it in a shotglass with some water in it.
I am going to put this last remaining plant into flowering Tonight and give it a batch of tiger bloom.
I'm going to pray to the weed gods that this last plant is a female.
the exact same thing happend to one of mine. i went to do a little low stress training bend and snap. the weak moldy spot gave out. i thought i saw some white puffy lookin shit on top the grow sponge but it isnt there anymore. and the other plant i had in that pod is doin great. weird shit.Yea I really have no clue, but, I think it was because the leaves it was trying to shed were dead, and the decay spread into the stem, then the plant was unable to get nutrients to the top of the plant and it died.

Yea I still have one champion plant growing right now, The clones from the messed up plant are looking good, I definitely think they are going to root.Is that the only plant you had growin'? or are there still some that have hope... oh and what kinda bud was it?

Wish I knew the strain, just went with a bagseed from some dank bud.
