First Grow (AG PRO 200)

5th day into flowering
I have some major nodage that just shot the fuck up out of nowhere when my plant was at my friends, I think it might have been because I had a light on the bottom of the ag res at the side. Clones are also, pretty much the same, looks like they might have actually grown, they look the same as they were when I cut them off the plant, still perky and shit.

good to see you have her bac, one thing i have been noticing with the AG is that the plants always grow some pretty big fan leaves during the beginning of the grow, i see you didn't topp. i like the topping when i grew, but this time im letting them just grow one big cola. Ima put my journal up tomorrow, im starting germination tonight

My friend's Green House Seeds 6 strain feminized pack from attitude just came in the mail, so I'm going to order some seeds. Definitely going with feminized, so I can just do a female from seed one at a time.

i want to be like fuc it and just use my address, i have my med card, and the only thing that really h appends is you get a letter from the DEA or whatever

Nice, figured it wouldnt be that much different then ordering somthing else. its not too much extra for the stealth, I guess its worth it in the long run after you harvest your crops

This particular seed was put directly into AG on 1/31/09.

I said fuck all of the fan leaf tests on my clones, I just flushed them.

I also flushed the bottom half of the plant, none of them had roots.

I'm just going to let the top of the plant die or whatever happens. Its just chilling on my windowsill. I give them a fresh mist every day or so, its really humid in there, the lid is always covered with condensation can't even see inside it.

So, I went to home depot picked up some y adapters (guy had to grab a new box from the top of the shelf with a ladder, lol) and socket to plugs.

Finally found a way to use the reflectors... but IDK if they are worth it. I have my AG hood on the top, so there is a full spectrum of light. There is an almost straight line from where the AG hood gets blocked by the reflectors and none of the 2700k goes up top.

So I just took them off.

Still can't decide which is better.

BTW this is..

12,200 lumens + AG hood (however much that is)

2x42W CFL (2700 lumen ea) 5400
4x26W CFL (1700 lumen ea) 6800
------------
12200 lumens (188 watts).

I wish I had 6x42w, that would be 16,200. Maybe if I feel like blowing extra cash I will. I'm mainly keeping the ag hood there just because I feel like using it. It gives the plant a tiny bit of daylight spectrum.

I just used my t12s in my kitchen and room lol..

that should work good, you just have that one power strip hanging, so it lets a lot of the AG light thru to the plants, Legit to me

I went total ghetto DIY with this fixture.

I tried like 4 or 5 methods.

I initially had 2 y bulbs, I was going to do 4 26w at the top on one of those 3 plugged extension cords. And then do the desk lamps with the 42ws on the side But the plugs didn't line up right, so it wouldn't balance with any way I tied it up.

Went back and got another power strip and another y bulb + socket to plug.

The power strip is tied up by nothing other than...

Shoelaces from some of my shoes I never wear bin..

I have them tied at the top of the breadrack shelf, I can just tie the knot higher when I need to, no pulleys, its just resting on the knot.

This spot is turning out to be a better place after all.

My plant is under my sink with the ag pump on, got it light sealed. Going to put it in the new grow room when I get up tomorrow.

AG deluxe bulbs deliver 4680 lumens of full-spectrum light to stimulate robust plant growth. (3 bulbs)

So that means that this

setup would be at 17060 lumens, but probably a little bit less because the ag hood is higher. Still, full spectrum. (188 watts 12,200 lumens of 2700k)

Thanks guys, since I'm really bored passing time before my classes, heres a photo update with the plant in the new setup.

The plant is a minty green color, I have a shitload of secondary nodes shooting up, so I'm expecting this main cola to start growing pretty fast soon.

Still NO signs of sex... wtf?

I see that I have some pretty good genetics on my hands, heavily indica dominant plant.

Still wondering what strain it is, I don't think its white widow, because that has always been more of a bright green.

Well, you havnt switched to flowering yet have you? thats when the sex will show, about 14 days into flowering

Today is day 7 of flowering.

The plant is shooting up vertically for sure.

Guess I have to just keep waiting.

I thought plants could show sex after like one 12 hour period of darkness.

Holy Shit... that plant looks healthy as a mother fucker, it seems to be gettin real bushy... good shit my nigga. I see all you guys startin to use the mylar paper... does it make that much of a difference.... I thought I had read that the best thing to do was paint the walls flat white so that the light bounces off the wall evenly.... I had heard that the shiny stuff on the walls can cause little beams of light to shoot back at your plant and burn that shit randomly.... i dunno... let me know how it works out... I might run out and buy some of that shit.... is it expensive? and where did u get it??

I got mine from a first aid kit I had laying around.

I know that mylar reflects alot of the light back without absorbing very much heat, unlike foil and mirrors.

My front leaves got res water on them thats why they are getting light burned. (the nutrients are cooking on it lol)
