I have a microscope...Radio Shack style. I figured i had a good two weeks left. So are you saying I should wait a bit on flushing?

Another week of nutes and then give her a proper 2 week flushing. Should be great, after the first week of the flush check the trichomes.

Here we go. I'm thinking of flushing today. I want to flush two weeks out. I took some pics of them today....they have gotten really leafy the last 2+weeks, but are still kinda frosty. Oh well, this was a learning experience and I'm determined to do better next time. Let me know what you think!

Should I start flushing today?

Lights off....Flash On

Leafy

So here is my flush plan: pH some brand new water to 5.8. Let the plants soak up that nice, fresh H20 while I top off with freshly pH'd goodness for two weeks and hope for the best.

Thanks for looking! Any suggestions welcome!

OK, sorry that I didnt take the time to go back and re-read wat I've already read. Go by yer trichs. Diff strains look different. Trichs tell the truth.
Great grow bro!!! +rep You overcame some shitty situations in the begining. Great job man. ALso dont worry to much about no trichs on the smaller plant...my first grow had pretty much zero frost and they turned out ok.

Yeah, I agree with Sexologist... it even happened to me too. My first seed to finish grew bushy as all hell, but never got frosty. It was schwag bagseed (all I had at the time), so remember, GENETICS DO MATTER! BIG TIME!!!

yeah, this is strange b/c both seeds came from the same bag, but the plants look totally different! Anyway, I will have an update coming. I haven't flushed yet, but I might in the next week. I think I might be 3 weeks outs!

OK everyone, I am now 72 days into Flower. I think, just think I might be 2 weeks out. So, I will most likely start the flush process tomorrow. My plant that is doing the best looks and smell tasty. I could have probably looked a lot better, but I never planned to grow AND I am a first timer. I'm not going to get much out of her, but I didn't really expect much. I have learned a lot for my next grow and have a lot of ideas. So here they are, some are taken with the lights on, some with the lights off.

If someone can help me out with a flush question that would be great. Do I need to pH my water to 5.8 for the flush? The water I use is around 8. Also, is flushing and then just topping off with fresh water good enough? Or should I completely flush my res multiple times?

Thanks!

WOW... You're doing freakin' great for your first grow. I wish I could help with your questions, but it's my first as well, and hopefully an expert will chime in.

Peace & REP to you.

My update today will revolve around my problem plant. I haven't posted many pictures of it. It is the plant on the left of my setup....the one that was always the smallest. Well, today I started my flushing process. I hope to flush for 2 weeks. As I was messing with them today, I couldn't help but think that I should chop this plant down. I need some opinions on this. I don't know if this plant will even be worth the trouble of harvesting it. I took some pictures, and have attached them below. If I chop the plant now, then i will have tons more room to rearrange my lights better for the final weeks of my best plant. But, I am not sure if the trade off will be worth it. THe crap plant has NO trichomes, and is leafy as fuck!! THis is why I am thinking the smoke will not be worth it. Anyway, I will stop rambling and get to the pics.

Please tell me what you think I should do!

Thanks

Just chopped the ditchweed! One thing, maybe Diggity can answer this. My root mass of both plants is just one big clump....really entangled. In the next two weeks, I assume the roots of the chopped plant will die. Will this affect my good plant?

you could try taking the living plants out and running their roots under the sink to try and get as much out as possible. don't pull on them, just let the water do the work. Or you could try swirling them around in a pool of water for the same effect.

But, if you're late into flower already, just change the water more often and add H2o2 to keep any nasties at bay.
