calcium deficiency hitting 3 of my girls hard and fast. i mightve overlooked the last few days but today i saw several leaves close to tops showing brown spots and such. i raise my nutrient ph solution to 6.1-6.2 try and fix it quick i also saw a bit of what looked like phosphorous deficiency spots on 2 of the bottom leaves of one of the plants. but these are really old leaves and its only one plant so im not real worried about it just yet. ill probably try to feed again tonight on the ones that showed calcium deficiency hopefully i can supply enough to them by tomorrow to correct this. maza stretching too tall will be pinching today or tomorrow night. ill put up pics by the weekend

Ouch man, I hope those plants get better soon, looking forward to the pics.

i just did my second super cropping tonight. this one was on the main stalk of one of my girls and it turned out to be tougher than i thought. after the first two pinches she wouldnt give much, i had to pinch it quite a few more times and a bit up and down the area. i eventually got it to fall over with some slight force. the downfall is that the stalk split, its not broken in half or anything it just has a slit on each side. i know the plants can get over it quite easy, just wanted to ask if anyone had experience with this happening?

What I´d like to know is how much it affects bud growth on the broken stem

well ill find out but i think super cropping makes stems stronger and supposedly more or bigger bud site cus it gives more light under the canopy. im really just doing it because of height limitations. im thinking on the next one to skip the pinching and just support the stem where i want it to bend and force it down untill it snaps into place. check this girl out she is looking like a beauty!!

Mr Bitti, how are the plants doing ? Is the space problem getting worse ?

it might be solved, i took out a few more plants and gave them away to a buddy of mine. im down to 7 plants now. im gonna feed today and probably start to super crop and try to arrange them around the cab to creat a nice and even canopy. i really hope they dont stretch more but its so early into flowering i doubt that they will stop it. ill get pics in probably tomorrow

Good... we need some pics ! I got the opposite problem as you, I was kind of hoping my 2 plants in flower would have stretched more, but they stopped growing. I´m looking forward to seeing your super cropping and the setup with fewer plants in it.
You still got the Mazar or was it one of the ones you gave away ?

Keep them in small pots and they'll stay smaller. That's what I did with my WW, but I could have easily gone a bit bigger.

Looking good :)

lol the problem i got is i used coco for the first time in this grow. The coco really lets them grow a shit load in these tiny little containers. I would have never had this much growth using soil and organics. which now that i think back on it it might have been better to use some FF soil/nutes for this small space. anyway i dont think they will stretch much more. its the 2nd week of 12/12 so they might be done with the stretching and now they should start to bud out once they recover from the super crop. shouldnt take them much

Those plants have great stems my friend, those were started in coco? I don't recall and I'm stoned/lazy right now :bigjoint:. Those look great, but that plant in the first and second pictures ... are you going going to do some training or pruning on that to manipulate some bud sites? What genetic is that? I hate that internodal spacing personally but if you could direct the growth into the top you may have something. Keep us up to date Bitti, it's looking nice :blsmoke:

yea the hps didnt help out the internode space. they all stretched out a bit but the mazar just wanted to grow that way. she wanted to grow tall and not bracnh out too much. all the big bang have much less internode space and tons of branching. If i still use the same cab for next time im getyting an mh for the first weeks of flowering to prevent an mh. personally i dont like that internode space either, i had something way different in mind when i started this grow, i just adapted. i think ill be fine now with the training the have already perked back up. im too drunk to mess with them tonight so ill feed them extra tomorrow and take some pics of the training. thanks for the comment ill post pics tomorrow

Well, on the bright side... all this training is going to make for much more interesting pictures for us !

Also, man... that grow space you got there looks ideal for some lowryder varieties.. stay low and a while bunch of them... hehehe just a thought

i have a kush strain that would be great in there

it stays short and bushy. its not an extremely fast grower but atleast it wouldnt out grow your cab

heres a pic at 4 weeks (its a little stunted from nute burn but its also slow)

Sometimes the plant will just make up it's mind on what it wants to do. If that comes up again I would top the basterds and watch the few branches go nuts, the MH light would give you really healthy structure before flowering. Let us know how you make out brother, peace and love

so i got the whole space thing settled now. I'm down to 5 plants from 16 i started. damn what a waste of seeds lol. anyway they werent expensive and i can always get more. this way i could select the ones i liked the most to keep. They have all ben pinched by now and the new canopy is looking great with tons of nodes exposed to the light. I think im gonna be better of because of the less humid environment i hope this creates. ive been around 35-40 this week and it would be nice to brin it down to 20-30. the buds are barely starting to form, so im hoping to see some buds in the next 2 weeks. they have all been around maybe a week since they started showing sex. heres some pics for you guys.

Wow, how did you get the branches to bend like that ?
I think its a good thing you got rid of some plants... cause now the remaining plants will have the space they need... It´s going to be fun seeing the buds develop :blsmoke:

i pinched em and basically weakened the stem where i wanted them to bend and slowly push them over untill they just fall over. the next day they will bounce back up and look like that first pic. the other where done tonight so they havent perked back up
