Religion has been happily providing their own science in the past with the threat of death for those in disagreement. In the old days, if the vatican sent you a courier saying they were interested in discussing your views...you had better run. People sure do have short memories.

that seems like a pretty ignorant statement in itself. pothead philosophers . . . now you're still holding on to the pothead stereotype here . . . you need to spend a little more time on this forum and really learn what we're all about here. pothead is certainly not it.

edit: and I've discovered philosophical concepts high more than sober, and I consider myself a very philosophical person. maybe there's a slight correlation with people being slightly more philosophical while high. it's certainly not for you to judge or stereotype the individualized effects it has on the brain, or the philosophies and epiphanies people gain from it.
