My first ever grow.. White Widow Ebb and Flow with air stone

Day 6 of flowering maybe 5.5
Changed my Res with fresh water, added ionic boost 1 part and bloom 4 parts. Until my EC read 1.1.
I'll leave it at 1.1 for a while and see how the plants respond.
I potted a few of the bag seed spouts in rock wool cubes. Topped up with clay pellets. 3 in total. They are the brown pots in the pics. I'm going to water these by hand every day for a while until they get a bit bigger. Then I'm going to stick them into flower. I think I will anyway. Just playing it by ear at the moment.
I have a couple of others in the bubble box along with my 1 clone and mutant plant (the 3rd of my 3 originals which doesn't want to grow).
One one of my main plants there is a yellow bit of hose rapped around it with wet tissue in it. The reason being I broke the main steam when I broke my lights the other day. I thought the best thing to do was keep it wet and out of the light. Plant hasn't died and it a few days now. So Looks like it will fight on.
Weed is one hard mother to kill.
Anyway time for the upload. Hate this part takes for ever.
The first picture shows how close I have my lights. 1inch from the plants. My fan is so close to my grow that it keeps the temp of the bulbs to cold. No heat from them.
The 4th pic shows the fim/top I did. I think its 4 tops. But I'm still not sure of where the plants will form buds. Newb, what can I say. lol

yea looks like 4 tops to me also if im remembering right the plant needs light to produce sugars witch help it grow(and make damn good bud) so i wouldnt nessacerily (i know thats WAAAY off) take it out of the light and yea that mutant of yours is 1 dodgy lil dude seedlings look good so atleast ya know your treatin them right but is that 1.1 EC 1/4 or 1/2 of the recomended nute ammount on the label? caus from what i know (not much) the 1:4 ratio is fine but by now i think you should have your nutes at atleast half if not full recomended...but dont go dumping gallons of nutes in the res just caus i said that either...anyway looks good
1.1 EC is about 700ppm I think or there abouts. Looking at a few charts with nutrient guides they say 1400ppm at this stage. So I though where I am is a safe start. I check them 3 or 4 times a day. So I adjust accordingly if needed.

You can see by the pics that one of my plants was a right mess with Nutrients at the start. With nute burns everywhere and a couple of heat burns too. New growth seems fine.
You can see a couple of deformed leaves on both plants. They look eaten, but I don't think they have been can't find any bugs in my grow area.

So, nice going dude. resembles me set-up too homie. I have been in flower for a whole week now. still cant absolutely tell if male or female yet? MY WW are gnarly, two of them split at lower stalk and grew two nice cola growths. I only topped the tallest guy on the right. The one bagseed tall guy on the left front, w/ single cola got fimmed a few weeks ago. And back Two WW took the craziest growth path. actually splitting stalk at base and growing two/3 colas without fimming or topping? i was amazed and haven't seen anything like it yet. postin pics... maybe we can help each other with advice. Ur set-up is clean. I like your light cfl set-up. looks safe.

Got an extractor fan today. Small bathroom one going to try build my own carbon filter. Never picked up a 12v adapter thingy though. So it will have to wait a few days.

Yes, that's right!! And Happy St. Paddy's Day to you!! Do you guys drink green beer?? haha.. I used to own a pub in my home town(PNW) and on StPaddysDay we always did up a keg of green beer(just food coloring), made a feast of Corned Beef and Cabbage, soda bread, steamed red potatoes, and Leprechaun Pie..... then had green pee the next day, haha!
Now I just hide out here on my hill and smoke THE green....

Hey tell me what you think of my journal... i have kinda halted my journals in search of others like yourself, offering solid growing tips. I thought your set-up was nifty. So. I'm in 7th day of flowering and I think I'm seeing balls on the big guy. hes bag-seed (so no biggie)? What do u guys see? The plants in the black pots are the widows. The small brown pots are bag seeds from someone elses home grow. God knows what seed they are, even the weed was ugghhh. Wet, leaves, barely and bud, looks like who ever grew them didn't take out the males.lookin good. they sure got bushy quick. wow. are u sure there not WWidows too? look bushy bushy....

Could be widows, could be northern lights, anything...
With a bit of luck both in the black pots will be females. They were feminized seeds so unless I've stressed them too much they should be good.

I think one is a female. Very tiny clear, like nylon strand showing at the node. Very hard to see. I will try take a picture tomorrow. But not sure if my camera will show it well. Just have to wait and see.
I 've just tied back branches on my plant to allow light to get into the plants a bit more.
I've just up'd my EC to 1.45. I think my plants needed a bit more. I Check the EC twice a day and it lowers all the time and I need to top up nutrients. I'd say thats a good sign, shows the plant is using them.
I decided a few days ago to flood every two hours during light. But looking at my plants today, they feel a little over watered. So I've gone back to every 4 hours (3 times a day.)

thats funny you say your eyes are better then the cameras zoom? I have an older model camera too. My girlz cam takes sick pics. I need to see the signs of ladies homie... I'm getting hell ants in the pants over here. I also did some LST'ing today, I went with the fish hook and weights approach. It worked well and I can definitely tell the difference in light penetration through that once thickening canopy. I topped the beast in the back and just opened her legs i hope to let in more light.....lol.. heres a pic.
