All I'm feeding with is Fox Farm Tiger Bloom, pH'd to 7.0. No additional N is being given.
I think I have at least a couple of weeks to go before chopping - trichs are 90% clear, 10% cloudy, 0 amber, and today is day 54 of 12/12.
As far as light leaks, there are none - the room is solid. HOWEVER, my light shuts off right around the time I get home from work and it goes back on just before I leave in the AM....soooo...the only time I get to "work" on the plant, ie: watering, checking pH, adjusting light height, taking measurements, etc.... is when the light is supposed to be off, so I have to turn just the room light on when I do those things. So...the plant does get exposed to maybe 10 minutes of very low level lighting (two incandescent light bulbs) each day when it should be night time. Could that explain the new growth?
I assumed the new growth was due to the pH being corrected and the buds being given a chance to realize their full potential. I was actually pleased to see them growing... I honestly didn't think that turning the incandescent ceiling light on for 10 minutes per day would mess the plant up that much, lol. I agree the plant is odd looking..especially at this stage. I wish I had something better than a phone to use for a camera...but you get the idea.
