13 Plants- All Hermies WTF?

8 Bubbliscious + 5 White Widow seeds all form Nirvana. It's 2 weeks flowering and they are ALL hermies I don't get it.

I've heard some bad things about Nirvana as far as their seed quality is concerned, but never thought it was this bad. Light schedule was typical. This is my third grow. The heat was a little high, but I never had issues before.

I either chop them down and start fresh now with bag seed or wait 6 weeks to harvest seeds. What should I do? I heard that hermie plants produce all hermie seeds and others have said that they are feminized. Any input or arguments against that? Thanks

p.s ive heard also that seeds from a herm can produce 100% healthy fems thats why im doing this experiment, i found out today that 1 is a girl, and il know whqat the other is in the next 24-48hrs. have a look at my link in the previous post, peace, taffo

Herm's will produce 1/3 herm...1/3 fem's...and 1/3 sterile. the fractions are approximate.

is it possible that you unknowingly stressed them? That could herm all of them as well...

thats exactly wot i thinks happened here 2, its highly unlikely that all 13 plants would go herm due to genetics, think bout it bro.

yer the seeds off a hermie supposibly grow females n its said a fair bit so id giv that a go if youve got white widows and Bubbliscious , dont waste the plants you will still get buds off it + feminised seeds of a good strain to grow again i have the problem wit a hermie atm aswell im gonna harvest and see what the results are on the seeds hopefully feminised

Maybe I did stress them. I had them under 24 hour light for two weeks before 12/12. During that veg time there were 2 separate nights a week apart that I had to have the lights off for about 18 hours each time (security). Other than that the grow room was light proof at the sacrifice of higher heat= 85-90 F.

Could that have triggered this ridiculous amount of hermies?

NOT ALWAYS TRUE MY FRIEND, i know a fiew people now that have grown herm seeds with outstanding results, it all depends if they were genetically herm or stressed to herm!! i have 2 bigbud herm seeds in at the mo and their jus shy ov 4weeks vegg looking healthy as fuck, theres pics ere of em somewere av a look, theyve just shown me their girls 2, lol peace. taffo

It's sounding like some good could come of this. A big supply of feminized seeds would be great.

The White Widow crossed with Bubbliscious sounds like a nice mix, although I won't be able to tell who pollinated who in this hermaphrodite orgy. It would be high quality mystery seed.

I was so pissed when I realized they were all hermies. I kept checking to be sure in disbelief. Haven't done a grow in a couple years, so I had been very excited and unfortunately now very disappointed

Ok but I would never try to keep an hermie btw I'm a purist with the genetic... I tried many cross in the past but never pushed to the F1 and found that I really hate non-stabilized genetic, So from that time, I only grow known stabilized strain and Get GREAT result without an hermi in my whole life... I think that if your seeds are from a hermie, they carry the 'weakness' in their chromozomes and your strain is now weakened and will give more hermies on 100 plants than any other pure genetic. I hate growing a plant for the buds and after two months, having males (even if I don't buy feminized, by choice). So If I have the chance to get hermie and Male! I would stop growing for ever... Hermie gives (more chance for) Hermie FOR SURE. It's written in their chromozomes... Take a Pure Award winning Cocker and cross it with a chowchow and hope having Cockers after... not a great chance... maybe 1 on 10000 ...

Since any weed plant can become hermie, it leads me to believe it is a survival trait. now some strains (manipulated) may have altered the percentages. Science can be so inexact. It's just one of those things.

That sucks dude! Did you have any light leaks during the 12 hours of lights out? If you get any light leaks or go and look at you plants during lights out...it can cause plants to hermie!
