here are some photos. I started from seed on January 20. Using CFL 125 floweing bulb now. Took alot longer than i expected. Just arrived today was 10 Low Ryder 2 seeds. Can't wait to plant them as soon as these plants get out of my way!

Hey jeff i am a newbie also but i am having trouble with my plant, using just about the same setup u are using, every once in a while i pick up the net pot and check the roots and now they are starting to turn brown.... did you have this problem

Haha, right? It's the exact same on Xbox Live, etc. I laugh my ass off when people try to talk shit over the internet... If only it were like Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, where they realized they had a pair and beat the shit out of that kid on his porch. Fuck trash talking on the internet, man... A.) Man guys save the bickering for another thread! If in fact this guy didnt know the diff between a male in female thats one thing, but a bunch of bickering hijacking his thread looks worse! Please people keep it civil! Oh by the way the way your pistols are curling in your plant is probably pollinated to no end and you will have a very seedy grow. FYI, Good luck with your grow. No problems with the roots. I change the water every 5 to 7 days. I stayed with the simple nutrients and measured carefully. Occasionally the leaves would wilt after changing the nutrients. But, otherwise, I’ve had no probs. The leaves seem to kick back up after one day. Since I am using the standard Home Depot 36" wide-white cabinet, I spray regular bug spray (Raid for Flying Insects) every two weeks underneath the cabinet. I have also been collecting Lady Bugs in my back yard and putting them on the plants. I found about 4-6 does a good job, but I really haven’t encountered a pest problem. I'm using the simple test strips to measure the acid levels. The water in my area is low on the PH scale so I add PH DOWN to raise the acid level. The PH was the pain because everyone talks about the PH levels being to high. What is confusing is that PH DOWN actually raises the ACID level. I have a friend who is a soil chemist and he had to explain this to me when I was having trouble with my acid levels in my Spa. I just checked my plant (I pulled out the three males days ago) and my acid levels were very low, extremely low tonight. Keeping the acid levels correct helps the absorption of nutrients. I was wondering why my female was looking great however bud production (flowering) was slowly advancing. I just added PH down tonight to get the acid levels up. I expect this to help. Hopefully we will have more friends respond in a positive way and not paint cannabis users as stupid dumb frucks. Thanks for asking my opinion!!

Yeah, it's everywhere like that. Youtube is hilarious with this nonsense. They should put a age restriction for internet. That should calm things down.

As for the author of this topic. Males usually become in the result of major stress and/or big acid concentration in soil. And from my growing experience (two grows, one with hermies (2 out of 2 fem. seeds) and one with mostly females (5 out of 7)) - the air temperature is crucial to development of mj.
