If you kept a 1000w 2 inches from your plants, you better have a supoer cooltube and port AC or something;
But beside that;
You cant really cant grow a 8 foot plant in a 6 foot room, ya know; Maybe you got another spot you could use? If you tried LST iunno, i wouldnt top them since your flowering , but thats just me!! :bigjoint:

I had the same problem on my last grow. The only choice I had was to tie them down the best I could, and then super crop a couple branches every few days. Your taking a chance of stressing the shit out of them and getting hermies, so don't super crop to much at one time. I did it up to seven weeks into flower, and still got away with no hermies.

Super cropping is when you pinch a branch between two fingers and bend it over without breaking it. It will heal itself in a few days, and usuelly you end up with a new bud site at the pinch. but doing this during the flowering cycle, you do run a risk of getting a hermi. It may be your only option, just don't over do it.

Hey Neighbor, You can also tie them over, just slight amount of pressure on the line. I use binder clips and the rolls of Twist Tie. Looks sometimes inside my tent like a spider web from hell.

id suggest using the LST method by tying them and bending the tops where theyre not too stiff so they dont break or snap. u usually need to start when their young but if u vegged for a long time and allowed them to grow more then 18 inches before starting flowering photoperiod then u risk gettin too high. also if the light isnt cooled nad too close to the canopy it can burn ur bud and leaves. DONT cut/trim the top at all now that uve flipped into flwoering u will stress the plant and loose valuable bud.
