i got into a fight with my gf over bud..........

Honesty is, in general, the best policy. The truth hurts sometimes, but you can USE that hurt to make yourself a better person. I always tell my friends to be honest with me... and I let 'em know that even if they hurt my feelings, I'll go off and sulk for a little while but in the end I can make myself better because of it.
 
Damn bud i have/had a simular situation. Girls are insecure, let em know that there more important then the ganja. Even tho im sure when there talking your ear off all your thinking about it lighting up a fucking spliff. Let em feel good but inside u kno whats up. Goodluck partner

I realized that about 4 months ago. Why try to change my
boyfriend, he is a true pothead, and I should just let him be.

I was a total bitch, but I got over. Now I smoke everyday
and I'm completely chill about it. Hell, he already has a grow

going. And Mine will be up soon.
 
i think the thing here is tolerance i have slowed down smoking for my current g/f jus because it seemed like it was all i was thinkin about day in and day out but i still had my goals and i dont think she saw that...n in no way will ever quit but the fact that she ended the arguement in that way jus means she's saving it for a later day and who knows when that day will be...plus u have to remember its still not legal and that is def an insecurity that she may have is that one day ull get caught up and she doesnt want that for you bro...she's always gona want you around no1 wants to see someone they love in handcuffs, ever...
 
update: we are broken up again........once you breakup with somebody its over because you never let go of anything that you love...........

yea it fuckin sucks like crazy. i wanted it to work out so badly and i loved her and did everything to make it work, but she didnt so wtvr. im not gunna chase her, she has alot of growing up to do so im better off....... it just hurts so bad

That sucks, a lot. Like a lot of people said, she's probably worried about money and such and sees your pot smoking as an unnecessary expense. I had a similar problem with my boyfriend about cigarettes, and finally I just accepted the fact that I can't change someone, especially if they don't want to. Hopefully you find a girl who loves pot as much as you do.

thanks, that means alot right now.i mean life isn't over and i realize that now. i need someone who is gunna be with me to be with me. not for what she can turn me into............

I didnt read the pages in between. but The first page was a complete waste of time to read. It seems like your girlfriend is over reacting, and why would you ever get into an argument with what you are going to do with YOUR life.. ya kno.

yea i mean im gunna be ok because we broke up once befor and i was depressed for a month but im not going through that this time. but im not gunna get into a relationship for a while

that makes alot of sense. i did learn alot about relationships and what not so maybe the next time i can pick up signs i ignored befor and stuff like that.....
