well i have the gh bucket drip setup first off, and i am having no luck. the first time i tried i only got the plant to grow 6 inches in about a month and it wasnt looking healthy and the power bill thoroughly pissed me off, so i quit growing for like a month and now im patient enough to try again so i got distilled water , 1 1/2" cubes of rockwool and clean hydroton, the ph is at about 6ish and theres about 4-5 ppm in the whole 2 gallon reservoir and for lighting im using a 400w hps light, and i even put a air stone in the reservoir with another pump just to keep the water aerated.

i keep the light about a foot suspended above the rockwool cube which is centered in the bucket, and i run the light for 14 hours a day,and i try to keep the water dripping for a hour or two at a time then i turn it off for about 6 hours, which keeps the hydroton pretty wet. o and i have a big fan set on low to circulate the air in the closet (its not that small of a closet).

is this correct? ive read up on it and it seems right, i know ill need to leave the water drippers on at all times once proper root structure is coming out of the rockwool but do you guys have ne advice? i feel like i cant accomplish this and its pretty frustrating.

and its been about a week since i put the seeds in the rockwool, isnt it supposed to sprouting or somthing by now? i know how to germinate other ways but fuck man i bought the rockwool so it would fucking do that.- sorry if i seem short, its just frustrating, thanks again

please tell me you PH balanced the cube first

Not for seeds until a week or so.VV:wall:

If it's 6 inches tall, it is not a seed. Does it have leafs? even those 2? If it does then it is a plant soaking up light. water with zero food is not enough. Your seed comes with the food it needs to get your leafs to the sky. After that it is up to you or nature. If it has leafs it needs food. I would do 300 -500 ppm

the water im using is distilled water with almost zero ppm and a ph of 6, or at least thats wat my tools tell me. thats what i use to moisturize the rockwool..? is that wrong lol. im not sure what ph balancing is but im just about to soil grow some bagseed until its got a set of leaves or two and just put it gently into the hydroton and give it small amounts of gh 3 step nutes. what soil would be a good idea for seedling growth? i have miracle grow and organic mg. is any of that usefull?

If it is 6 inches tall and has leafs, feed it. Your seedling medium is the cube.

i didnt think it was good to move germinated seeds aroundmore then u need and pressing them into rockwool seems ruff but maybe ther just a bit tougher then i figured, im start working on this stuff and post pics in a week to show progress. thanks again yall

As a seedling, it should be in it's cube in a humidity dome under light (eating food). Once it is ready to veg, it should be planted in you medium of choice. Since you have not been feeding it distilled water with zero PPM, it needs to remain in the dome for now.
