Flowering Day 32

Cola's are looking pretty nice. The different flowering times of the clones is really becoming apparent. Slowly but surely the cola's are starting to tower above the canopy. Some of the lower branching nugget buds are rather large, some more than 1" wide & 3-4" long.

Avg time that most of the clones have left to flower is probably 6-7 weeks.

It is starting to feel like I just may hit that 1g per watt. X'n fingers :p

they are 2 liters cut in 1/2. 2x plants per 2 liter :p

Well theres like 6x 2 liters that only have 1x plants (other clone removed because wasn't growing etc).

damn ive been lookin for info on a 2liter sog grow and here it is...... haha and after weeks of searchin
they dont look root bound and those look really healthy well whatever ur doin ur doin it rite haha....
i am planni a lil sog grow myself i was originally gonna go wit 2liters then i juss went and got sum 4 gal jugs instaed since they r a lil bigger.
whut nute line up r u usin?

Ya, this run got all jacked up. The clones were all put into the area at the same time but due to the age of the mothers when the clones were taken they took forever to start to flower so they basically veg'd for like 2 weeks :( So keep in mind that what my grow looks like is nothing of what a correct sog will look like. You'll basically end up with just 1 single cola plant with no side branching. (sorry about all the eye spam lol)

They have all been root bound for well almost the entire time. But the 1/2 2 liters allow for enough root growth for sog style plants. As long as you keep your root system healthy and productive a root bound plant can thrive for a long time.

I'm just using shultz 8-14-9

Soil is some $1.99 a bag el cheepo soil.

This entire grow started as an test grow. I Put aside the hps after reading the cfl forums and seeing all the crazy harvests that people were getting with cfl.

So to keep in style with a low budget micro grow I bought the cheapest nutes, dirt etc.

Everyone tries to get 1g per watt with cfl but the avg is probably more like .45g per watt. I def would like to hit 1g per watt and show it can be done. :p

yea man i was lookin all over for info i even googled it and looked but they didnt tell whut would happen if it got root bound they juss said itll die dont do it..
but it looks like ur doing good so that gives me a lot of motivation to keep goin wit it,
the only thing i wanna do diffrent is to have em veg for bout 2-4 weeks so i can topp it and get the extra side branches. the grow in my sig i juss finished and i got over an 0z dry. i got a 0z juss from the two main colas and like an 8th from the side branches wich i cutt too early noob mistake but o well i do better nxt time.
i got my seeds germed and ready to go juss need tha soil and ill be good.
but as for the cfls they r great to work with i used only 6 45 wat cfls and it turned out pretty good.
one question tho do you have to water more since its a 2liter whats your water and nute schedule like?

I water one time each day when the lights come on. Nute wise its been ranging from 100%-350% the normal recommended solution, but I am going to be sticking with 250% since it seems to be the most optimal safe zone these plants can handle during flowering. (they can handle up to 400% recommended dosage but only for a few days).. But i give them nutes every day so :p :)

one of these days man i hope my babies look as good as yours i dont know weather to cry because those are yours and not mine or if i should lick my computer screen lol. wow im baked ill just shut up for now and come back to this when im not so stoned :D

love the grow man...its lookin better and better..would recomend the plants your growing ,for more of an inside grow or outdoor..

one more question,,sorry for buggin man....but about how many of the 42 watt cfl's would be good for one plant ,from baby to bud...

hey i was wonderin do u use molases through out tha grow? i used some in flowerin and boom they exploded with crystals it was crazy....
but lookin good but cant wait too see em get bigger...

So far inside, but I have seen some amazing pics of the same strain outside. But it seems to def be a good inside plant :)

I'm not totally sure how many you would need for one plant. If you have a good small space with reflective siding 4 42's would def produce a monster.

This grow is currently under 10x 26w 2700k's and 4x 42w 2700k's I am pretty sure I could get away with a lot less lighting :p If you keep around 5k lumens on a bud it should get pretty damn plump. (Lumens don't actually add up but if you pretend they do it works out :) )

You are wasting probably 60 percent of the output of those bulbs by not having any sort of reflector on them.. This will be a poor example of what cfl can do for thar reason alone. For what it is it looks good but man.. Why no reflector??

I've never used molasses myself. I have heard it can leave a burnt sugar taste if used too much though. Info i have gotten always conflicts, some say it plumpens the bud some says it makes it crystal up. Def can't be bad for it though, just real unsure of possibly jacking up a crop :p

Do you think it would alter the taste & smell? or enhance the plants original taste & smell? :p
