Those trichs look pretty done to me. But I don't like couchlock bud too much. It's really a judgement call on your part. I would expect to pack on a whole lot more weight in the next 2 days.

You are certainly in the harvest window, but now it's a matter of how you like your bud.
I like the ruin your day kind of high. couchlocked narcotic high. it is for medicinal use:eyesmoke:

beautiful plant and pics ..... yea I think at this point it depends on your personal preference. I would prolly be inclined to do as said ...a little longer, and let'em dry out the last couple of days .... really really nice, many thanks!!

sometimes its the method and products they use to grow that makes it look frosty like that your next grow will only get better and funner from here on out!!

That and they may have grown out 100's if not 1000's of seeds to find some that good. Not every seed is going to give you a "winner". That's why I have 10 Feminized White Widows going right now. The only purpose is to find 1 solid mother. Might go through 10 seeds and not find one worth cloning. I don't keep mothers/clones until I find a particular plant that has an amazing pheno type, vigorous growth and great resistance to pests and problems.

Yield and Quality are considered very heavily as well. I will number all of my seedlings and take cuttings from them. I will flower all of them and whichever one comes out the best I will keep. I'll kill all of the clones and plants that didn't originate from the same place as that one strongest clone.

Precisely..... also, how much water is passing through the plant, the time of day during harvest (or of the plants photoperiod) and how long you have been flushing, the nutes you use.... it all plays into the "high"...... not just the trichome development ;).....

All that is happenign to those leaves that were yellowing is when you put your babies into flowering they dont need as much nitrogen... nitrogen is what the plants use for vegetative and green growth... most bloom fertilizers have much lower levels of nitrogen so when your plants get close tp harvest the leaves may yellow... not a big deal at all... if that is the case, and sice it didnt happen until real close to harvest i can almost gaurantee thats what it was

Very nice tric pics man. Good job on those. I would call that 50/50 at least. I say flush a few more days and break out the scissors.

Damn man this journal has been hot today. Like a million posts since last time I checked in.

In my opinion they need to go a little longer.
Two weeks if you ask me. Atleast.

I still see a bunch of long straight white hairs protruding from the buds. I would wait until the buds fill in a little more.
nice pictures btw

Here, check this tutorial. Look at the pictures and how the hairs have turned red and curled up.
Compare it to your beautiful girls you have there

Great job man!!!
Whatever you do, you will have some awesome smoke whenever you do harvest:weed:

I am really proud of this journal. I hope people learn from this. From start to almost finish, covers a lot. Thanks everyone for the advice. I am very proud of this grow. I just peaked in the tent and looks like the FI is starting to stand up a little. At least I think... Stay tuned..

i have just finished reading this entire journal in one sitting, and found it to be wonderful. The pics, the advice, everything. I cant wait to see the results. I have been reading about how to grow for....damn like three years now. And this has summed just about everything in about an hour or so of reading its absolutely amazing. I give mad props to everyone. And this has pretty much made up my mind to start my own grow.

Rep+ to all who chipped in.
I do have to say that this is probably the best advice given thread that I've seen in a long time. No one chimed in with misinformation and an argument didn't have to take place. It's always when the guy with 8 posts who joined yesterday and has never grown chimes in with useless information and bad advice that things turn ugly. But this thread you got pretty lucky pullin' some of the more experienced growers somehow.

I think the genetics intrigued most. Especially the FI strain.
