Well i started germinating 14 bagseeds and tried putting 3 straight into pots so by sunday i should have sprouts. Then im going to put them outside and plant them outside. I live in the far north USA how long do you guys think they will veg till they start flowering? It drops below 60 around early october thats like 2 months to grow/flower. Do you think i will get to see some bud or is it to late?
gonna have a few weeks of veg time and yea you will see some bud. just dont have high hopes of getting alot off each plant. 1/4 - 1/2 oz is what i'm planning on getting. thats why i planted 160 more.

Give them supplemental light to increase the daylight hours and give them more veg time. I've used florescents though even just a regular light may work.

I was expecting a like a bowls worth off of each plant but really? 1/2-1/4 id easily be hsppy to get a 1/4 total. So if i have 4 females i could get like 1oz sweet.

choose a good location that will get as much sun as possible and invest in some good fertilizer. I recommend FoxFarm Tiger Bloom, Big Bloom, and Grow Big. make sure ya dont burn them. seedlings are easy to kill so i would wait till they have entered the veg stage before any nutes are added

i have a great location, gets probably 10 or more hours of direct sunlight. is it a bad idea to put the seedlings out in the sun after they sprout. i have a few that are popped out of the soil. i just know that last time i put seedlings out in the sun, they burned and stopped growing. but it was also like 100 outside

the only problem is i dont have access to clones. unless i take some off of my biggest female, but i dont have any experience taking clones and rooting them seems like a gamble to me
I have cloned many times, its a breeze. First of all you won't hurt your females. Garanteed. If you can't get covered starting trays,Just get some 16oz partycups, poke holes in the bottom for plant pots, fill them 1/2 full with soil, perlite mix, take your cutting, dip it in water then root tone, stick it in the pot keep it below the rim, spray it with water and cover them with saranwrap. Seal it air tight and place it on a tray,(say a cookie sheet, fits 12 cups) keep them sealed for 10 days, water them through the tray if needed, you can tell by the weight of the cups if they need water. Its a snap, and I already know they are females.
I cloned 25 two weeks ago and only one might die.

Don't worry about experience, you'll gain that.

once they have sprouted put them outside but put them in the shade for a few days. ya want them to be able to adjust to the sun and the elements. once they start growing their first set or two of real leaves put them where you are going to want them.

It can be 100 degrees and no sun and Marijuana won't grow good. It's the sun people not the heat.
thats true but when talking seedlings you dont want them in direct sunlight until they have established themselves. otherwise you will go to check them and you will have a bunch of dead baby plants

so i just went out and bought some nutes... its called "Algoflash" N.P.K rating is 4,6,7 anybody heard of this brand??? its made in germany. it was the best looking thing they had on the shelves at the nursery i went to and i figured it should beat the hell out of miracle grow nutes. btw its a liquid fert. so if anybody has heard of or used i sure would like to hear their opinion

I live in mid florida, do you think it is to late in the year as well down here to start a couple plants? This is mine and my brothers first grow and really already have 4 poking out of the soil.

the way i see it, your just in the nick of time. your not going to get phenominal yield or anything but youll get something. just watch out for the humidity and rain when they start budding

Lol yea man I've been watching them like a hawk making sure they get the right amount of everything, I don't know if that is just because I'm new or if everyone does that.
