This is my first post but I figured I finally had something worth putting up. Here's a venting and filter system I finished today that's been in planning for awhile. 4 weeks into flowering so figured it was about time. This box totaled out to about $75 which is kinda expensive but will hopefully be pretty legit.
It starts off with a 6" inline fan ordered online from Home Depot totaling about $30. Put it in a box with newspapers to muffle any sound after a quick and cheap wiring job.
The ducting came from Lowe's in only a 25' length for $20. Cut 2 roughly equal lengths on both sides.
Another duct piece was cut to narrow it down to fit the pencil cup filter found here: https://www.rollitup.org/do-yourself/101248-best-diy-ez-walmart-carbon.html> This cost $23.49 exactly as listed.
Finishing it off was a squarish piece of cardboard to make it easy to attach to the grow box.
A side benefit from this set up is it ended up being a pretty compactable design, for transport which is good cause I'll be relocating in a few months.
Hope yall enjoy the first post.
