A few concerns for a first timer... (Try not to laugh =o))

Ok, funny story time... So i called another Wal-mart yesterday, and a girl told me they did have 4 rolls of the silver wrapping paper. I went in and looked at the paper, they were perfect. I picked out the four rolls, and was looking for how long they would unroll, and noticed they all said "Cellophane". I thought in my head, wait a minute, cellophane is whats on cigarette packs, and its not silver its clear!, but I looked at the paper closer, and closer, and indeed it was silver. I went to the register to pay, but while i was there i expressed my concern about the paper, and the register lady looked real close and also assured me it was silver. So I felt more confident, thats 3 people telling me that these 4 rolls of wrapping paper were silver. Well everything was all fine an dandy till I got home, out in the sunlight and went to get the rolls to take them in and noticed they were a little more brown. I raised it closer to my face and as soon as I did, I saw that brown tube that goes all the way up on the inside of the roll... THEY WERE CLEAR!!!! apparently the florescent lights at Wal-mart made them sorta glow, and the reflectiveness of the roll took over the transparentness off the roll. I swear in the store, the roll was at least 3 inches from my eyes and all I could see was myself and what was behind me, but once I got outside, It didn't reflect anything! I was so pissed. I had already had a bad day trying to come up with my automatic watering situation to no success, and I had looked at the paper myself inside, and really thought it was silver. LOL, so thats what happened yesterday. =o)

LOL!!!!!!! damnnnnnn dude.. that suckkksssss. did you ever go back and get the right shit?? or did they not have it?? and usually the wrapping paper will have some sort of design with kind of a siver/metalic/shiny background..i had to use my wrapping paper inside out to have 100% reflector. hope that helped in some way lol...

dude..its fukinn HOT!! i had to work all ddamn day in like 103 and you know it was wayyy hotter with the heat index and shit. lol
you needa post some pics of the setup though..so i can get a visual of watt you workin with my dude

shit man, when/ if you go back get these emergency blankets, you should only need one unless your decking out a whole grow room and their cheap

hold on im lookin up a pic




and why the fuck would they make clear wrapping paper!?! it wouldnt be a surprise when it comes to unwrapping it

ROFL, i picked up the same thing. tried to take it back and of course the lady behind the counter said "and what seems to be wrong with it?" I'm thinking the same as KaleoXxX, It's clear! how am i supposed to suprise the person i am gift wrapping this for!? i think it's quite obvious that they can see exactly what i got them. She looks at me and say, "oh i guess that could b a problem". Ya Think!?:mrgreen:

Amen, works wonders. even the refills without the plugin part works awesome. i have 1 over the exhaust vent in the room and one at the end of the ducting.

I know right!!! I can't wait till christmas to see whats inside this present with the clear wrapping paper...YAH! lol You know those people who roll their own cigarettes...? Maybe they seal their own packs as well! lol who knows, but thanks for all the tips on the emergency paper. I actually ended up getting a free roll of mylar, so we're good now, but for the future, I know!
