I fogot to post any of my pics here, so here is the most recent, maybe a week ago. It's too hard to pull them out for pics very often.
Anyway this is what you get after ~5 months of veg when you are only using shultz fertilizer and 5 gallons of FFOF but I did have to get some cal-mag like stuff and did give them a couple shots of hygrozyme. 5 of these grown this size with just a single 1kw hps.

They are getting good nutes now, I know when to penny pinch and when not to, but unfortunately they are just making bird seed now so they're about to get tossed.

ahh what an epic shame.

Oh well it was time to go hydro anyway, screw this dirt it's too f'ing slow.

Tragedey strikes! My good friend just had 2 buzzberry ladies uprooted from his own property by mostlikey teenage c*ckbites.....The plants were from the same bag of seeds as my own plant. It makes no sense because his were only just starting with the hairs, there is no smokeable bud on it and the tore it outta the ground and hopped his back fence. F*ckers~:

I'm thinking that I should start trimming the fan leaves off this thing. What do you guys think? its like 4 weeks flowering outdoors.

Leave leaves alone! Removal of healthy leave hacks up a healthy plant. Removing large or shade leaves DOES NOT make plants more productive. This practice DOES NOT supply more light to smaller leaves and growing tips. Plants need all their leaves to produce the maximum amount of chlorophyll and food. Removing leaves slows chlorophyll production, stresses the plant, and stunts its growth. Stress is a growth inhibitor. Remove only dead leaves or leaves that are more than 50 perfect damages.

Don't ever remove fan leaves before harvest for several reasons.

1. The fan leaves convert and store more energy for the plant than any other leaf. The more energy the plant generates the healthier the buds that is just millions of years of genetics at work.

2. Even if the fan leaves are yellowing in late bloom I do not remove them until they are almost ready to fall off. The yellowing in the fan leaves at late harvest is the plants metabolism at work. She is transferring all stored energy in the fan leaf to bud production. It is the easiest source of energy she has late in life. Once again millions of years of genetics can't be wrong or we wouldn't have weeds to grow now.

Yeah otherwise you plant will look all fucked up like mine.
i should be the poster child of not removing fan leaves.

HOWEVER ;I DID NOT REMOVE MY FAN LEAVES.

they all fell off by disease and low ph still, fucked up but not by choice.
