the girls are going in as soon as my cocotek mat shows up, which should be friday or saturday. im using a new to the market nutrient. Its called Heavy 16 from field 16 nutes. There is a 2 part bud and 2 part veg combo. It started out as a homegrown mix that was passed around between some friends, and now its enhanced and available to the market.

so the temps stayed between 90-95 F, so Im going to buy a small A/C. Ive got 2-3 days to get this room finished. I work well under pressure.

I just installed the A/C, and am putting the room back together. I will run another temp test tonight. When the room gets put back together I will post a pic of my work.

okay so im working out my kinks. The air supply for my cool tubes is now totally seperate from the air in the room. The air was cycling through the room so quick the A/C wasnt doing anything. So now I will be keeping the room around 72F before I turn the lights on at 8 or 9 pm. The fan pulling the air through the cool tubes is a 650 cfm fan with a 250 cfm in line booster fan. Wish me luck, because before I did all this today, the room was 90-92F last night with the lights running.

and now that im not cycling the air in the room, I will be investing in some Co2 equiptment. That should help the plants cope with the temps.

Ive got my ebb and flow lines hooked up. I drilled out the pvc with a 7/8" spade bit, and tapped with a 3/4-12. I just had to wrap some 3/4 nipples in teflon tape, and I had no leaks. The pump is 1500 gph, and fills the top which is 5' + no problem. The cool tubes will go in soon enough. Im def going to switch to 3 tubes next time, with 600 watters. Im cutting cocomat into strips, and placing it under my 3.75" baskets. The plants will be around 14" when they go in.
Good craftsmanship too.

Thanks alot, i pride myself on craftsmanship. I have been talking to some friends and I think that if i used coco fiber instead of the mat, that the moisture would be better retained. this is because the mats are coco and glue or rubber. I am also looking into a drain to waste feeding system. my friend does it and he water 1 every other day for 1 minute....think of the nutes you would save by using this method with the coco fiber. I added some more circulation to the space under my stairs, because the air was getting to hot from the A/C exhaust. The temps dropped to 89F in room with the lights going. I think with some Co2 I should be fine, plus the temps around here have to come down sooner or later.

I've seen plent of 90 degree grows rock. It's all about fresh air/Co2. Granted I'm not the king of indoor. I don't know how those temps work in flower because my indoor grows are currently for clone or veg purposes. 85-90 no problem.

Outdoors, in SoCal for almost the last week it's been 105 -110 degrees. More water but plants are happy. I don't know if you can pull off a late flower 105 degree indoor grow. Mother nature has a way of balancing this shit out.

its been 105 here too...
Fucking ridiculous, isn't it? I only run a single 600W light and it's been a challenge to keep my tent cool but I've managed to keep it between 80-87 with this triple digit heat. Thursday it was 106.5 here in North OC. :fire:*No way could I even think about running two 1000 watters.

I am just 6 net pots shy of filling this baby up. I will go an pick those up tommorow. When its full it will be 65 beautiful ladies. I have 2 x 16" fans and 2 x 9" fans circulating the air. I will be ordering my Co2 stuff tommorow as well. I will be trimming the large leaves off tommorow or the next day, and once more after three weeks into flower. Lets here what you guys and dolls think. Thanks for all the positive posts....makes me feel good.
