A few weeks ago cops busted in to my friends house for a "probation search".
They were actually tipped-off, go figure.
Well, they found his rooms with a total of 67 plants in various stages of growth.
He had over 1lb. of dried marijuana.
He was also caught in possession of two scales.
1 big and 1 small along with a box of baggies.
He was in possession of medical documentation but was arrested anyhow.
He bailed himself out on the same day for an unknown amount.
Later at court he was threatened with a year in the county jail for possession for sales.
He told his lawyer he was taking it to trial and the lawyer agreed.
The defendant told me he then seen his lawyer walk to the D.A.
The lawyer opened a book and pointed out a few notes witch were more then likely precedent from other related cases.
The D.A then bowed and shook his head.
A few thing more were said and the lawyer returned to his client.
With glee he said, "We can take this to trial but I just got you the sweetest possible deal."
Well, the deal was D.E.J. which is Differed Entry of Judgment.
This means if he doesn't get in trouble in the next six months then he can and will have his record wiped clean of it.
I should also mention that they never touched his plants and gave him back his property afterwards!
So grow on......
