Room Constraint Question

Hi All,

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. This isnt my first grow, but my first in a new place/setup.

Here is my SETUP:
I have a 2x3x6 plywood box, lined with mylar + all the ventilation I need.
250 WATT MH/HPS digital ballast + several 42 WATT CFLs
Soil: General Potting mix, coco coir, perlite
Strain: Unknown Indica to start, also have Manitoba Poision + Skunkberry (sativa) to try next.
Nutes: Fox Farm Tri-Mix, B'CUZZ Root Stimulator, Superthrive

Yes, I have a relatively small space but do have enough height to let the plants I grow reach their full potential.

Here is my Dilemma in two choices:
1. I could put in as many plants as I can fit and SOG. Let them get 2 feet tall and flower for one main cola per plant.
2. (what I am thinking of doing) Use 4, 2 gallon pots and veg longer, doing LST until the plants are about 2 feet tall and taking up the entire 2X4 canopy, creating a bunch of bud sites per plant. Then flower.

Main Questions.. what is my best option, 1 or 2?

Should I top them or do LST? Or another method?
Are 2 gallon pots big enough if I choose option 2?
How are my nutes? Is there a big difference between something like "advanced nutrients"
Should I add in a bunch more CFLS?.. will it give me a better yeild? I was thinking of adding them in down low to hit lower buds.
What kind of yield have others gotten with a similar setup?

Thank you SO much for any advice help.

SOG usually yields less but you can turn it over quicker so it's usually the best option yield wise.

Thanks for the info, any other advice guys?
SOG usually works best with clones of a strain that you are familiar with. Try to use clones from the same plant that way the needs of the plants will be almost the same. Best of luck my friend.

Thanks for the info.. How about lighting? Do you think a 250 WATT plus several CFLS are ok? Or, go for a 400WATT.
