First timer from Athens

Greetings all,

This is my first post, photos will come this afternoon.

I had some weed from a friend, kept the seeds, planted them, one started growing, most died, one survived.

I had planted in mid May, the plant today, is less than 18 inches tall, it has started budding.

The plant look really flimsy but I was surprised that it started budding.

I have no idea about seeds, there are some nice white hairs growing and there are lots of small new buds growing around the main stem.

I'll post the photos later today,

Any info on when to harvest will be appreciated.

Hello, there. I have couple of very closed friends also stay in Athen.

Pictures will alway help to determine how far the plant are in the flowering cycle.

If your climate aloows you ,let that plant stay out as long as possible! Looks to be in about the 2nd week or flowering or so.Typically you want to let your plants flower for aprox. 7 weeks.

In the newbies section, i read that once flowering starts, it's good to put the plant in complete darkness for 24-36 hours. I just put it in - I hope this was a good thing.

Any opinions?

so am I on the right track or what?

My 18 inch high plant is in a small pot and I'm getting paranoid, can I bring it in? Will window light be enough?

widow light wont be enough all it will do is shrivle up and die. thats what my friend did and it at do widow in their closet. but do you have it in a pot or in the ground?

ok sorry i didn't read the entire post. but if you have it in a pot and scared that it is going to be to tall that is close to your lanethy( sorry about spelling pretty fucked up) plant then dig the hole till you think is right for the plant and the lowest buds are still able to get as much light as they can possibly get. but putting it inside will just make you have some shitty weed if i were you i would just keep it outside and big the hole and put it somewhere where it will get alot of light otherwise it won't be worth it. unless you have a 400watt light that cane keep it as close as you can get to the sun light. anf if you don't keep it outside. hell hide it if you have to as good as you can.

oh and if you can. can you put a picture of the entire plant so i can determine where you are in your grow. but i can't tell what kind of plant it is. and how fat it is into flowering. cuz i think it is longer then what that guy thinks it is.

no you don't want them RED. you want the brown. actually a amber color at about 50/50 amber/white. and if you get a better picture of the leaves and from and full picture of the plant i can roughly tell you when you can harvest. but otherwise completely red (amber) is if you want that couch locked high. and if your into that then do it.
