I am totally with you. There has been very little intelligent discussion around here lately, or even threads that go past 3 pages, because no one is interested.

I wouldn't mind if the board allowed for a few of the bigger posters to have a"Posters name"-corner, or something similar. I enjoy reading the musing, experiments, thoughts and advice from the guys who have the real experience.

Something needs to be done. I am sick of sifting through threads that should have never been created.

Also, the indoor growing section is NOT a journal section. The journal section is for that...

Brilliance doesn't go hand and hand with smoking pot, but the basis of this section of this website, is the technical approach to horticulture. Slang, grammar, etc. only get in the way of intelligent knowledge...

Maybe even a setting to where you can't post for a day or 2, after signing up. That would give people incentive to read and explore, b/c their topic has probably been discussed before.

as an adult and please forgive me , but i feel like i'm contributing to deliquence if i give advice to children, so i think i'll stay clear , until the kids are gone, have a nice grow all!!!

Baking brownies. Currently using three sticks of butter boiling in five cups of water and then adding two ounces of manicured bud. Question: Is it better to use oil instead of butter?

I agree with you 100%.

I didn't read this whole thread, but I too am tired of seeing stupid questions being asked, when the OP obviously never even tried a search for an answer. I don't mind helping people out if I can, but holy fuck i hate it when people need their hands held every step of the way. :roll:

Im a new member. Ive never succesfully grown a marijuana plant from seed to bush but im starting to get the hang of it. About 2 or 3 weeks ago i germinated some seeds, planted them in cups of soil, built a little garden in my girlfriends moms backyard along the ocean. Did I start way too late in the season and is that a bad spot for a garden?

i have a few plants growing in my shed. there about 4 weeks into budding. the top few leavs are begining to turn a reddish purple color and i was told its because there not getteing the heat they need. is this true??

I've got 32 books on growing and still need some help. My plants are in the flowering stage 2 weeks in a grow box made by me. I'm using 6 cfls putting out 1400 lumens each. but just 2 days ago started to wilting some.few had gotten burn 5 days ago but not badly. i have it in a pot that has a water chamber below. pics to come.

i personally think questions should be answered no matter how dumb they are... isnt that wat this site is for we get new people every day and they dont kno wat questions have been asked yet which is why they will ask the same ones.

also they are new to the site so how in the hell should they kno where to find the growing guides n shit....


ask me any question no matter how dumb and i will answer it no matter how many times that question is asked

Agreed!! Anybody who has any questions can deff ask me (pm to avoid drama :roll:) and I will gladly do my best to help you and if I cannot answer the question I will deffintly point you to the right guide. bongsmilie

Hi, I'm new to this cultivation malarky and have just sent a post which i reckon could be conceived as 'asking a dumb question' but isn't that what this site is all about asking and answering questions (dumb or otherwise) and therefore helping others to enjoy and most importantly succeed in our quest to grow quality ganja.
I have been a toker on and off for the last 17 years and since getting online a couple of years back have read, watched and downloaded countless grow guides with the aim to attempt a grow myself one day. This is my first attempt at joining a discussion forum and I hope I don't alienate any of you lot due to asking silly questions i just want to learn and most of all discuss.
