Sensi Star growing

So today was a sign of hope... Went over to see them today and they perked up real nice. Looks like the feeding they got helped out already started seeing a difference in the color of the girls. With this next watering I will try to make some small adjustments on the pH levels to get them all straightened out. thanks again for the great advice....

So I have a little update on the girls.... Seems that the transplant was a success. Plants are getting greener by the day and have started to grow again. The plants day to day care taker now knows what a feeding should really be like and the amount of water that should be used.
Plants have perked up even more and I will be taking more pics of them either Thursday or Friday depending on when they get watered (this time I will take pics before they get watered). Stems that were purple are now changing color back to green. New growth looks good. I must say the feeding is doing wonders for the ladies so far.
If ppm are low after next watering I will give some GIG at 1/4 strength as suggested by TLD.

We took some clones from the mendo purp (3) and we took (2) from 2 different SS. Looking at them I think they are really really really small. LOL but through today they look good! I soaked the cubes in a light solution of SPT. We will see over the weekend. Just thought Id let everyone know since last time clones had a rough life for the first 2 weeks....

I am learning and thats what really matters to me! ;-)

Are you using the small rockwool cubes?
If you are and you have a digital scale weigh them out to 30 grams
To remove water, DO NOT SQUEEZE THE CUBE, you must sling the water out with a flick of your wrist
Squeezing the cube will push out all of the air and air pockets from the cube making rooting more difficult

Yea, Tom thanks. I figured that out after the 1st time cloning. I now use the flick of the wrist works much better. That and they are not getting soaked with water so they breath. :-) Oh yea I am using the small rock wol cubes.

rapid rooters or peat plugs whatever you wanna call 'em work very well. I've used rockwool in the past and I just don't like it, its not my thing.

Yesterday was a good day for me..... I found a local dispensary that had Sensi Star on hand. :-) I had originally though I had never smoked this but right when I smelled it I knew I had it before just didnt know what it was. :-)
Eye Appeal --- 7.5
Smell ----------- 8
Taste------------ 7
Potency -------- 8 or 9

I must say that yesterday was a very good day I had a really good high from about 8pm-11. I smoke a few bowls and finished with a blunt of it with some friends.
The blunt was about .7 maybe .8 since it was a little moist, it was smoked between two avid smokers. and about a 1/4 left of the blunt I was as high as I wanted to be put it out and finished it about 45 min later. Everyone that tried it liked it too! ;-)

yeah.... don't forget you got some from an abused batch that could have gone a week longer ;)....... it didn't have the full cure, and was mishandled by the club.... over all it, after a FULL Cure (which is immensely important) comes out like:

Eye appeal - 8.5-9

Smell - 9-9.5

taste - 9

potency/high - 9.5-10 (gives me the munchies real good ;) )

My ratings from being an experienced SS consumer ;) ..... this pot really needs a full 2 week dry 2 week cure to reach its maximum potential....

Im sure you will agree pretty much with that once you get full exposure from your future harvests etc. ;)

And I give the Purple Kush strait 10's all the way ;)

I am really excited about the 4 SS ladies I have going now. Especially if you say that it was an abused batch! I could see this smoke get better with more cure time smells like it can!

Sometimes I poke holes in the bottom, and bottom of the sides, of the cubes to increase aeration in the cubes, they notoriously suffocate plants, good tips, ;)

people should also ph their cubes before using ;)

Once you weigh them for like 200 times, you can actually feel the weight :D

Yeah a pH of 5.5-5.8 I believe is ideal for rockwool
I have heard to let them soak for 24 hours prior to cutting the clones but I think that is unnecessary. I cut 6 clones last night and put them into cubes that only soaked for about 15 minutes before hand. Slung out the water, plugged in the clones and was ready to go. I'll let you know how my results are on the 6
