WHAT THE FUCK 1k watt edition

my 1k watt xtrasun was working fine until 2 days ago. the light simply went out. convinced it was just a burn out i put a new bulb in. nothing. the ballast is geting juice and the new bulb glows but doesn't fully come on. help! SOS! save my grow!

From what I've learned recently.....if you're using hps and it doesn't come on, just flickers....it's probably the ignitor in the ballast. May also be the capacitor. MH bulbs don't use an ignitor but won't burn if the cap is bad or weak. Take it to a horti shop and they'll tell ya quick.
