ooh, some rules need to be broken here, my specialty.PLEASE DO NOT POST YOUR GROW ADVICE ON THIS THREAD.

THIS IS A TUTORIAL THREAD ONLY!
Thank you
Hey man i just had to touch on this subject. I did this last grow, you know i use HID lighting as my main source,Well you also know that i use those 105s too..well i would have em in the front of the plants. You could see the trichs/frost very well from the front cause of the light spectrum.I couldnt really see any trichs in the back until i moved the bulb to the back to view...I believe its the spectrum of the light that illuminates the trichs and allows us to see em better..That blue spec. just makes em easier to see.I noticed that on this grow too...Making any sense?Let me repeat, if you are growing with CFLs, and properly using two different kelvin bulbs, you will see the first trichs near the 6500k bulbs first.
It is very important that you have ample 6500k bulbs to pull those trichomes out, and are using both spectrums of bulbs and ocasionally rotate them.
I try to position one bulb of each kelvin near the largest colas and swap them around every two or three days.
Yeah Rose, looking real nice.
I have a question for you,
When you mix your powdered nutes what is the water temp your mixing them in?
Hot? or res temp?
Again, I have more wattage and lumens than every before.
Every grow I use more bulbs.
On 8th grow now, and I am still learning.
Biggest mistake I made this grow was using two OLD bulbs, My new Light Meter told me that they are still lighting up, but not putting out any light or lumens.
A CFL bulb is only good for two grows, max.
And no matter how much wattage and lumens you have, CFLs do not penetrate deep, not even the 105 watt bulbs. This MIGHT be my last CFL grow. I am considering HIDs and Venting in the ceiling.
I will still get 16 ounces of dried manicured buds tho.
2nd biggest mistake was I let a bulb and reflector fall right in the middle of my biggest plant and I lost 5 major branches or limbs! It still have 8 remaining limbs tho.
3rd mistake was I used one used tube, (I bought 25 ft of new tube and I needed 26 feet) and letting the tube fall off the hub and I lost a baby sprout.
4th mistake was letting the water pump stay in a week too long and it was full of trash. I am using water pump filter bags on all my future grows.
I am pushing feedings to the max, and I have 1/32 inch yellow tips on almost every leaf.
They are still very healthy and growing fast!

Peace Roseman, Sorry for the interuption but I wanted to get some clarity on this statement. So, even though you have not gotten to the stage of flowering where they are naturally losing nitro or other macros and showing yellowing tips it isn't a major concern for you?
1, I have been in Flowering for 4 weeks today. Didn't you see the pics or read the posts?
2, this GROW has less yellow tips than any grow I have ever done. In all my other grows I over-nuted everyday. This grow I am just barely over-nuting them.
Yellow tips do not bother me, it is just a sign that they ate too much.
I have had a few yellow tips and I was wonderingif it is a problem but it hadn't stopped growth and they are still going along fine (they are autos). They started it at the onset of flowering but it has gotten better to an extent. So is this the same as what you are speaking about? Just wanted to know if it is normal becasue I had the same thing going on and I foliar fed them micros w/ bloom nutes yesterday to see if it would change.
So this is okay?
DO NOT FOILAGE SPRAY in BLOOM, only in VEG.
I will not post a pic because this is not the place and I only SPOKE of my grow to highlight the similarities (or at least what I trust to be the same and hence no problem). thank you for your time and patience.
PEACE
PEACE INDEED I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING THE GROW EVERYDAY. THE STATEMENT WAS YOU AREN'T AT THE STAGE OF FLOWERING WHERE THE YELLOWING IS NATURAL (NOT JUST THAT YOU WERE NOT AT THE FLOWERING STAGE YET...) i REALIZE THAT YOU HAVE HAD TO DEAL WITH IDIOTS AND PEOPLE WHO DON'T TAKE THE TIME TO READ BUT I HAD READ IT ALL AND FOLLOWED IT EACH DAY AS IF IT WERE MY OWN THEREFORE THIS IS NOT THE CASE HERE. AGAIN I DO APPOLOGIZE FOR THE INTERUPTION. AND THANK YOU FOR THE TIME AND PATIENCE AS WELL AS ADVICE.Glad to help out.
