You can send your kids to collage but you can't make them think.

What currency is Hamilton on??? Are you kidding?

Or are you chanting to yourself 'too many hits from the bong... too many hits from the bong... too many hits from the bong" as you're typing your answer???
"What answer?"
LOL!

I left the half century mark in the dust long ago. I am an old fart...I am beginning to realize that I have a limited number of future harvests remaining, so I endeavor to make the most of them.

It seems like just yesterday that I popped my first seeds...alas, it was longer ago than most of you were born!!

well, you got the first part right. college is actually a day care program for overage pre-adolescents.
ding ding ding we ahave a weiner!!!! but i assume you still have some grudge against institutions of higher learning. some of us actually do enjoy what they learn. I dont pay for college to be a hermit studying in my room all day i want the full experience. I work hard to get colloidal compounds memorized why shouldnt i work just as hard to forget them?

Why should anyone on here have to state their age? I don't think that age is the issue here. The matter at hand involve levels of maturity, respect, and intelligence.

Most on RIU are simply immature and disrespectful.

Personally, I like to look at someone's history of threads and posts to find out a little about them. I think that you can tell a lot about a person by looking at how they play with others. I look at how they type (if u typ lik dis den c u l8r) and how they communicate and exchange information. Its interesting to watch the drastic change from the first post to the last. Most people are quick to give advice but are offended when it is offered. It is often true that the worse the typing skills the more immature the typer.

This is just what i think though... I can tell who it is worth to talk to or not by reading what they've written. Just because we're all hiding behind computers doesn't mean that all aspects of our personality are wiped away. in fact, the type of person you are becomes very obvious when other people are reading what you've written.

it's just another chance to lie.

i'm actually a pregnant fourteen year old, living in the church basement and surviving on mountain dew and stale saltines. i stole this little notebook and wander the city searching for unprotected wifi connections, just so i can pretend to be something i'm not in the little time i have left before dying of a massive hemorrhage while giving birth in a broom closet.

or maybe i'm a bored college student, failing all my classes and living off of daddy's dwindling savings. next year i plan on dropping out of school and joining the peace corps before losing my life in a freak paint ball gun accident over the labor day weekend.

i might even be a lunatic soccer mom, addicted to vicodin and shuttling my brood around town in an over-sized suv. between the utter futility of my life and the fact that my husband has been cheating on me with the pitcher of the little league team he coaches, i feel i am perfectly justified in planning to kill my family and then myself with a dull butter knife next tuesday.
