California gun owners

Yeah

I'm trying to buy a 25 round clip for my 22 rifle. Does anyone know if they sell them in California?

It's a marlin bolt action sawed off. Not a full size rifle but all I have for it is a 7 round clip. I would go for 50 but I'm not sure if they make them, and I know you can legally purchase the 25 rd ones, but I don't know about california since it seems like we have stricter gun laws than most places.

haha you could say that, lots and lots of squirrels. muahahahahah Na, not really shootin' anything yet, just picked it up for home security purposes. Tomorrow we'll have to take it down to the river and dump off some rounds.

Yeah, I was actually shopping for a pistol and didn't really want the 22. But the selling point was the bag of hollow tips that came with it. I figure if anything will make up for the small caliber a hollow tip will. Clean gun, though. I'll get a pic up for u guys

there you go. So does anyone know if I can legally buy a large clip for it in california?

Whatcha shootin' with that .22? Squirrels? lol

For real. .22 are tiny. I've seen hole punchers make larger exit shots on shooting targets. I guess they're good for kids, women, and people that want a cheap time at the range just wanting to shoot. If I want to fire off my .45 ACP it costs me $150 bucks in bullets (thats when I can find bullets)

I will say .22 are nothing like firing larger rounds. So whatever firing experience you get with a .22 you can throw out the window. Also if someone has a home intruder I've heard stories of people unloading several rounds into people with no ill effect. I've also heard they can bounce off of bone. At least they're accurate, if someone doesn't know how to fire a .45 correctly I could see that person even missing a door in front of them.

EDIT MY BAD I THOUGHT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT HAND GUNS!

a sawed off .22lr? well first off your gun is illegal, as all rifles and shotgun need to be over 16inches in barrel length (unless you get an ATF 200 stamp tax for the SBR) but im sure you just dont know what your talking about (sawed off is a dumb term) secondly, you cant have any mags in california over 10 rounds for semi-auto rifles, bolt action might be different question, why the fuck do you want a 50 round magazine or a 25 round magazine for what is basically a bolt action target rifle? marlins are great .22s, but they arent the mean assault weapon you want go with one of these http://www.centerfiresystems.com/AKAGUN01.aspx

LMFAO HOLY SHIT that is the lamest thing i have seen, god damn its like a hood rat modded it, wtf firstly you got a ruger stock on a marlin bolt action, what the hell see ruger logo right here
RUGER2.gif
secondly, its no longer considered a rifle, but a pistol now (btw if the BATF found out, that could land you ten years in federal prison, i wouldnt suggest telling people you have that) ok, where the fuck did you buy that? also, the barrel might be 16 inches or more, so it could be legal in that regard might wanna buy a new stock for it, and if you want mags http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/default.aspx

bro I realize the gun is illegal and I called it sawed off for lack of a better term to describe that it is not a big rifle, but more a a handgun. It works as a mini chopper with the large magazine, the only draw back is that you have to pull back the bolt every time to load the round.

I know I can order 25 round clips, but they're for the ruger. Don't think they'd fit, but maybe.

So the gun serves it's purpose right? That thing with a full clip of hollow tips is enough to make someone think twice about walking in my house and taking my shit huh? You can hate if you want, but it works. It's the first addition to my soon to be collection.

It really is a pretty fun gun, though. Took it out today and shot some bottles and shit. I was dead on within about 20-35 ft. but after that with the short barrel aiming became a little more difficult. No kick at all.:bigjoint:
