I've tripped on mushrooms 7 times in my life and loved it every time except once. The last time i took them was six months ago and i had a bad trip. The environment was terrible, i was in a hotel room with ten people and there was just too much going on. I'm in college now living in my own apartment with my best friend. The town is lame but we're near a river in the mountains. Next week i'm supposed to trip on LSD for the first time and i'm a little worried. My two good friends from back home are coming to visit me and my roommate with some LSD. They all have experience with tripping. I'm worried about having a bad trip a little because the last time i tripped was a bad time. I feel like there won't be anything to do here and i don't want that to make my trip bad. Other then that i'm really curious to what LSD is all about. I'm on the fence about taking it and i wanted to see what people with experience had to say about it.

Ya, man acid is pretty good, I'd get a few disney cartoons... Definately aladin. Nothing hectic or shit that can be too ambiguous etc. I once saw Once were warriors on LSD, not a good idea, that woman's eye was hanging on her cheek man!
You'd probably feel like takeing a stroll, but appart from that you won;t be doing anything coherent for a while... makeing coffee on cid sometimes takes me an hour or more, as you keep forgetting what you were busy with and get distracted and attracted by other things so fast. Your mind is like a stray dog let loose in a butchery... it doesn't know where to start, and wants a bit of everything...
Doesn't realy matter if you have stuff to do or not, with acid there is always the feeling of superabounding... A term I coined after a song by Frank Black called superabound... one of the lyrics is, I superabound, but I still got nothing to do!.
It does tend to make one chatty and is realy good to do with friends... as opposed to in my opinion shrooms... which are more of an inward experience...
Make sure you are well rested before because they'll probably make it hard for you to fall asleep right after they wear off... You can learn to sleep on acid just fine though.
Buy some bubblegum as you'd likely start grinding your teeth a little, especialy with street LSD.
I would say LSD and more specificaly the first time I took it, was the watershed moment in my life. It is greatly responsible for who I chose to become in the long term many years later. That shit makes you so clever you get dumb. I love it. Words become so cool, meanings at diffirent levels exist simultaneously and can sometimes tell two alternate stories at the same time.

Anyone seen any effects with orange juice at the end or near end to lengthen the trip? I can never tell because I am tripping. The wildest thing I have ever done it take a Trip shit, its so weird staring at the floor moving while doing a bowel movement. Very strange feeling lol
oh IM so stoned I forgot my point, Dont keep worrying about having a bad trip or you will give yourself a bad trip. Negative thoughts are never cool, mellow out and enjoy the ride

Negative feelings are important.
If you have been up to shit lately or just a douche, or had some indefencible vice, it will likely get amplified alot.
I remember in the beginning haveing to deal with many facets of myself each time I took acid... Once I even stoped speaking for a few days as i coulnd't stand my voice...which in turn was just a manifestation of other insecurities. But it had to be unlayered systematicaly, over time, for me to overcome and in some ways accept some things.
At some level its hard for me to think of people who never had acid as people, as they have not accessed a very large part of themselves and the range of experiences their bodies are designed to experience.... they are kinda like trainee people.

Damn dude, you totally get it man. There's a shit ton of people that don't get it but you do. I don't know who's in your sig saying ANC is god, but I'll agree with them.
And that sounds like a horrible fucking trip to not speak for a few days... Sounds like something even more intense than what I dipped into tonight, but nitrous oxide during the peak three four different times, indescribeable, amazing, totally inside of a psychedelic globe. I mean I took two hits, but it's just the really good shit from today, I can't even imagine what it was like back when shit was too legit to quit.

I've tripped a couple times....and my most recent trip (couple days ago) I drank some Valencia with Mango juice with a bit of orange in it and I swear to what ever diety you worship that once I felt that weird mango consistency go down my throat, the halllucinations seemed to increase a shit load. Acid is a relativley strong motha fucking drug, so what ever mind state you're in while taking your first dosage, you'll probably be in for the rest of your trip, so make sure you take it at the right time. Also, just sit back and relax, just wait for the acid to kick in, while tripping time becomes something you'll forget, so don't bother looking at a clock because you won't be able to figure out what time is.

youll have a blast man, lsd is amazing. and i recommend having an mp3 player handy or some type of music and lots of prerolled weed. and if ur tripping with other people its best they are good friends. ive had a hell of a fun time with 7 of my good friends trippin face in a house, haha we tore that place up. good times...
