Help!!!!!

Im new to growing i've just started mt first grow.

i was wondering from germination all my seeds cracked and produced a root i planted in soil but its been 24hrs and nothing has surfaced i have my lights on 18/6 how long until you see some activity? i think i might have messed up somewhere.

Any help would be much appreciated

Dont need lights yet jus keep warm and you should see something in the next day or 2

no light until you see a sprouter. also when placing a seed into the soil make sure u put it about 1/4 inch to a half inch deep and loosely fill the hole over the seed. you can always pack soil around the stem when it is tall enough. good luck

I've had the lights on for one cycle of 18/6 i've turned them off now will this have damaged them?

The light accomplishes nothing until there is green to absorb it. You really don't need to give it anything - except time.

Relax, turn the lights off and give them more time. Growing is an artful combination of skill and patience.

Cheers i've had people say keep lights on gives it heat and something to grow to?

one of my biggest problems was putting the seeds to deep and once i stopped that all has been good once you get a strain you like cloning is the way to go.

i germinate mine put them in soil and then keep in a dark warm room untill they pop out of soil then i give them light

Plants can't reach toward light until they have green leaves that recognize light.
