golden syrup or black treacle = mollasses?

hello i have a tin of black treacle (tate & lyle) and goldern syrup (tate & lyle) now is either one of them the same as mollasses?

also i have been growing in coco using canna nutes. im getting close to harvest but im getting really close to running out of the canna boost. from what i read the mollasses does a similar job to canna boost and i shouldnt have trouble substituting it?

No they are not ,I know this because last week i went out to the shops to buy molasses and all i could find was black treacle so i asked an old lady is this the same as molasses and she told me that it is not, treacle and golden syrup are refined meaning they have most of the nutrients stripped away whereas molasses still has all the nutrients in it.She asked me what was it for i told her for super boosting my plants flowers,she gave me a funny look

black treacle will do tho, ive used it for ages with my nutes and had no probs

yes, try tescos or your local shop might sell it

I have been using Black Strap Molasses, you can find it at the local grocery store
