This is such a joke. people of faith do NOT absent-mindedly say, "My X faith" and just happen in insert the wrong one. It's the equivalent of taking wedding vows and using the wrong name.

The controversy over his birth certificate exist only in the heads of those who are willing to say anything to discredit him for whatever reason. There is a document issued by the state of hawaii that is out there (google it, i'm too lazy) that ended all reasonable debate about the issue. The only people still blabbing about this live in an alternate reality and buy gold from glenn beck.

I repeat: if all you have to say here about obama is that he is secretly a muslim and not a citizen, then you most likely have shit for brains. I'm not saying you have to agree with him by any means (I don't always either) but this is just stupid. Why is this so hard to understand. I can talk about anyone's Muslim faith. It doesn't make them Muslim. Obama states the John McCain hasn't talked about his Muslim faith. Why does that make him Muslim?

The original intent of Obama's first sentence in this interview segment is just to make the point that John McCain has not suggested the Obama is a Muslim.

People take the statement "my Muslim faith" out of context and attempt to twist into an declaration of faith. It's ridiculous. It is, on the surface, obvious. Anyone who interprets it otherwise must speak English as a second or third language, and not very well.

It does attract your attention initially, but the entire conversation has to be taken in context. Otherwise, you're just using a convenient phrase, out of context, for the purpose of deception. Sort of like John Boehner does, only he makes it all up.

I did see the full segment with the whole context of the convo. I understand what your saying, even with that being said, it was worded that he did have a muslim faith, and john had not talked about it. You can look at it two ways....

Its just a view and opinion. I dont think hes muslim, dont care either. Just wondered what americans were thinking about this.
