hate to tell ya B but that sounds just like a caterpillar found his way inside and started munching. the bud gets discolored, super dry and flakey when they work their way in. I know it sounds unlikely that a caterpillar would make its way inside, but I've had one completely take a branch and eat about 3 inches down the branch from an indoor mother. just check all your buds closely and see if you can get him before he wrecks more havok and takes some nice colas with him

I don't know what it is but I can assure you it isn't caterpillars, there would be much more damage on more plants
It would be but rot due to those huge dense colas if I had to guess

i have no experience with this type of bug problem. Would the catepillar be getting ripped?

I think the stem went necrotic & cut off all access to water to that bud, it sat and cured on the vine.

The bud is undamaged, and trust me I checked closely on the inside where I got this little nugget from. No catepillar shit here!

I had a similar experience. I did a microgrow this last summer and on one of my plants, the top bud dried out. The rest of the plant was just fine. Only the top bud was effected. Its hard to tell on the pictures but here it is.

Anyways, today is Day 57-- I decided im gonna let them go to about day 70.

Pack on that weight bitches!!

Except for the very few that are farther along then others, they'll be getting taken down in about 7 days, rather then 13.

Bterz!! My man, glad to see you got your oics loaded. How are the trichomes? That will be the real measure of the maturity. If they are still clear maybe the bud will just have more borwn in it. The top hairs on my pk are browning too, but the trichs are still clear and developing.. They look freaky fat though Bro!! Very Nice.

Whats up raider..good to see someone is still awake. I just spent 2.5 hours + watering/tending my bitches. I've been doing tons of preharvest trimming because of my mite/deficiency issues I was running into. I cant stand to look at brown/crispy leaves so I started removing tons of it. I also started removing water leaves that come out of the buds. I just pull them back a tad, and snip..i'm not sure if this is robbing my plant of its resources but I know they're going to fill in those gaps nicely these next couple of days, and be easier to trim come harvest time. Plus it really gives me a chance to inspect everything.

Today is day 57 (58, now that its past midnight, I supposed). The trichs on the most finished plant, including the one pictured, are still clear..which to me is good news consider they're only going to pack on more weight.

The ones that arent closed to finish I'm assuming are gonna go 70+ days.

Great new on the trichs Sounds like they still have some bulking up to do. I know what you mean about the time thing..my lights come on at 8 and my wife gets upset if I run right down there, so I wait fro here to go to bed at 10:30 and then put my time in. That's why I am on here so late everynight lol. Those buds look fenominal! I'll bet they smell oh so sweet.
