Hey there everyone,
Ive been using unfiltered city water for the last year and although I havnt had any major problems with it, I've recently noticed how much salt, chlorine, and god knows what else is left behind on the plastic plates that my pots sit in to protect my floor from water damage. And this is after leaving it for at least 24 hours to allow some of the chlorine etc to evaporate. I figure this can't be good for my plants and may be part of the reason why I havn't been able to dial my shit in 100%.
Anyways, im looking into R/O water and was wondering if I am better off getting it from a grocery store or buying a filter myself? My grows arent very big, I only go through approx 5-10 gals each week.
Also if there are any other tips, disadvantages to RO, or any advice that I may not have found in my 10 minutes of research plz feel free to speak up. if you know of good deals on quality ro systems feel free to share that link as well!
Thx for any help!
