So I was doing some research on magic mushrooms and I figured I'd ask this question here

If one were to get into mushroom cultivation for the money, how much could they make?

Could someone give me a general outline of yield / time to grow?

How much effort/materials would it take to yield a qp?

How much more potent are fresh mushrooms compared to "street" mushrooms? (dried up)

You would make as much as you charged.

If you did it right you could yeild 8 pounds every month, in a 10X10 space, 1.5-6 weeks till first harvest.

To yeild a QP you would need three big casing, like in a brownie tray is what I use, cased with one bulk substrate split into the three trays. 3-6 weeks to harvest from inoculation of the grain, depends on strain environment.

Fresh are thought to be more potent as some thing in the mushroom are definitely oxidized but whether psilocin is, is not something I know for certain but don't take my word for it.

My suggestion, find a tek for WBS or PF tek, then find a bulk substrate tek, a casing tek and make a fruiting chamber. Also look at the various strains of mushrooms out there, pick a strain and find the cultivation parameters. Do it right and don't cut corners and you will be on your way in no time, test things out, if something isn't going right make small innovations to your method, you might be pleasantly surprised and want to tell other about what you discovered. Feel free to ask questions, but only after you have exhausted yourself, do your research, start at the shroomery, in the grow faq and cultivation guides, its easy enough to navigate.

man its easy has shit to grow tall pounds of boomers in little time and cheaply....... ive pulled full pound flushes from my monotubs......... and i had a few going, and they all gave me 4 flushes, though not every flush was a pillow

I don't think Ill have 10x10 room space, I don't own a house and I have people coming in and out a lot.


I'm probably going to have maybe a plastic tub or two

Dude first off, i dont want to tell you about dealing and prices...Thats a whole new game.

When i grew i kept em between me and 1 or 2 mates after harvest. Its EXTREMELY profitable, the ingredients are piss cheap to be honest, just buy spores make liquid culture and spawn to a bulk substrate, look it up on a shroom website.its really not that hard i dont think ( saying that i only grew cakes... but yield was still okay! )

Unless you know someone willing to take pounds of material at a time, I would not risk going commercial... Its just not worth it getting busted for a dimebag. So, grow a few, share with your friends, maybe swap them gram for gram for weed (i do, if the have REALY nice weed).

I do know someone who would take a good amount at a time, and there is already heavy demand in the area

Dont get spores from spores101, just because hard some dodgy shit from them recently. Get from one of the vendors of Shroomery, ralphsters or i cant remember any others - heard great stuff about ralphsters though.

sporeworks is the shit. use them all the time. they ship super fast, and discreetly. i got my last spores in 2 dfays after i orderd

yeah they are. ive never got a shaddy syringe or contaminated syringe. they come in a small box saying they are from "the works" so its not all obvious. they got good deals to if you buy in bulk. most of the syringes have a good amount of visible spores...

And how do you guys usually order your spores, money, credit card? should I invest in a PO box to receive?
