Two 400 or 400 and 600 ?

I am using a 400 MH/HPS 6" cooltube in a 3'x3' tent. I am thinking of going with a 4'x4' tent or a little larger, i was going to add another 400 MH/HPS 6" cooltube. but can get a good deal on a 600 MH/HPS 6" cooltube or a 1000 MH/HPS 6" cooltube. I think the 1000 would be to much heat to deal with and the 400 would create more equal distribution of light in the entire area, but the extra 200 watts is tempting. What do you think ? what would you do.
Also 1 am using a 465 cfm active air blower to cool the single 400 and can put my hand on the cool tube glass and its barely warm can put light 3-4 " of plants top without burn , do you think this one blower could cool both lights 2x400 or 1/600-1/400. Opinions and comments sought and appreciated

I am using a 600 and a 400 in a 4x4 tent i am happy with it not to hot i am in the 75* range in the day no prob.

The way your thinking is so right. 2- 400w lights are plenty, i use a 400 hps grow farm and a 400w mh mag.
Basiclly in the same amount of space and it tends to get really humid. Its winter here in the rocky mtns.
Cold as hell and still humid in there. Really worried about summer, might move all to an outside grow.

Do you run your lights during the day? does the half of the tent with the 600 get better or faster growth ( much more than other side) ?

Thats the way im leaning i mean the extra 200 watts is tempting but i dont know if the increase in the heat and electricty cost will be worth the increased yeild. im in the deep south and come summer i have to run about 6000 btu A/C unit into the tent to keep em at 75 lights on at night. Thanks for the opinion.

I run in the day and no the side with the 400 seams to be doing a little better than the 600 as far as i can tell as of now.
