ur plant wont die people are just sayin shit..your fine with over 80 degree temps over 90 and i might worry a little bit but seriously sometimes when im growing in the summer time i get over 100 degree temps for a day or two sometimes more and everything still grows..i got a friend who moved to australlia and he said he grows with 90-100 degree temps all the time..it might grow faster under 80 but whatever gotta do what u gotta do..and ur humidity is fine where its at people also blow that outta proportion..lower humidty will crystalize ur weed up more but to low and u have slow growth and if ur temps hella high and ur RH is below 40 it will probably slow ur growth soo keep ur humidity at 40-45 no lower

I grow outside in summer and it hits 115 and is almost always 90-100 all summer with RH around 20-30%. Plants grow just fine. Plenty of water in the ground and they don't show any signs of stress.

you do know this thread was from 2010 right? lmfao i grow in my closet temps are not that high but i run about 75-80F easy on a daily basis in both flowering and veg and my RH is crazy high for flowering but perfect for veg. sativa should handle hot temps easily but idk about indica's

I'd get rid of that humidifier first and foremost. There's really no need to be pumpung in excess moisture to the room, it will actually start to cause problems further into its lifes cycle, especially during bloom. That will help drop the temps a few good degrees, at least.
The temp your running at is ok really, but is a little high. The previous post is only a little off, the higher temps actually cause the plant to speed up its photosynthesis, but without the addition of a little CO2 will only cause the plant to stretch more, and cause runny buds.
Do you have any CO2 suppliments? If not have you thought of furmenting yeast and sugar? That process causes a nice jump in CO2 gas levels, for a cheap price, and would be perfect for your tent.
Another good technique to employ is to try and keep the roots as cool as possible, using chilled nute water works, as long as its not too cold, or else it could shock the roots.
Ultimately, if you have good ventilation you'll be good at those temps, but there are ways to definitely make it better...
Let me know if that answers your question, and if you need some more clerification on anything.
Peace

What do you think happens when there outside. Temps get waaaay higher then 85°f. Keep the light from burning the tops. Have good ventilation and always pull in outside air. Unless your growing for a dispensary and selling meds you should be fine.

Have you learnt not to put your thermometer under the light - rarely said but the first thing newxgeowers do before assuming heat problems :-)
I have my probe coming through one of the duct holes on the side of the tent, hanging near canopy level of the highest buds. Where do you put your thermometer?
