lol they 3 times the mass surely , guess we wait an see if the results are consistant:) keep puttin the pics up :) i hear a lot about those molasses u gt there, i have never used em. dont know if they sell em? maybe garden centre though ive never seen em on my travels

Quite a difference eh? Hydro rules, But when it fucks up ya done! Yea, the unsulphured blackstrap molasses.. I bought it on ebay for $15 and It really gave my buds a kick...and the smoke tastes better than ever :)

Never ceases to amaze me in how fast the dwc grows over soil... :lol: Look at them bushes!! Conclusion, Soil sux for indoor growing. :bigjoint:

Hello Mr.SS,

Well, I do have many to change every few weeks, thats for sure. But, Ill handle it. I think the effort I put into this grow will certainly pay off in the end. I have a total of 12 buckets to change every 2 weeks... Its a job, I know. Most growers would have One rez for all, not me..LOL!! I even took out the other soil plants in the veg room and converted them into Hydro plants because of the success. Im a crazy white boy.. That pretty much sums it up. Whats new with you? Got your dwc up and going yet? CG :bigjoint:

Well, the last harvest was bodacious!!! I have started to trim a few of the dried tree's and wanted you folks to see the progress. I have trimmed 3 of them, and do 3 daily til the job is done. More work than most realize. Easy does it. Stickiest bud Ive grown yet.. Thanks to that molasses. CG :)

Gave them some breakfast. Responding real well. But, the soil plants are struggling to catch up. 2 more weeks of veg, and I'll go into 12/12. The bubbler plants will probably be about 30" tall before flowering. :weed:

glad alls gd in the hood, roots looking nice an healthy, cant imagine th eroots at end of grow hows the dry cupboard doing?
my girls are well into flower now, liitle nodes budding out nicely, should be in for some nice tight colas,, shame they will only be 1/4 buds nt oz buds.
gunna take sum pics later will pop em on for u to analyse..
how much nutes are u adding at the mo ?

Good morning/evening? :)

The drying is coming along, but its reeking. I should be able to jar em up tomorrow. Scary time...Way worse than when they were growing on the plants. Anyways, Id love to see the photos, please post. As far as feeding, Iam on my 2nd week Fox Farm schedule. 2 tspns of Grow Big per gallon, and 1 tbspn per gallon of Big Bloom per gal. There filling out nicely, and getting taller daily. A very bushy plant in hydro.. The soil grown plants do not look the same at all. Way less foliage. Hey, I made an aeroponic style dwc bucket bubbler. Wrapped 3/4" tubing inside a 5 gallon bucket and drilled about 50 1/16" holes into the tube that sprays on the roots with the use of a water pump(250 gallons per hour) that lies at the bottom of the bucket with 2 gallons of Fox Farms nutrients. It also has a heavy duty flat airstone w/airpump running 24/7. Im the nutty professor! :) No tubes involved to obstruct roots. I may have to go with a bigger hole size, seems like alot of the holes plug after a while... Back to the drawing board. Sigh.... DWC Aeroponics.. its cool, lots of oxygen, and hopefully,..superior growth rates. I realize This isnt full blown aero, just another crazy experiment. The GS makes me think too much... It just seems like I got a major grow spurt when I let my roots breathe, thats kinda why I built this unit. More air.. Maybe Ill program a timer to shut off the pump/spray for a while, and in turn cool down the water and let the roots dry for a short time.... There I go again..Thinking..hahahahaa! Ill post some pics after my light comes on. Aight, 2 Weeks left til I flower.. I wonder If my celing is High enough!! I know Iam!!:bigjoint: Heeheehee! .. bye 4 now. CG :)

with the air thing, do u think overkill of bubbles would ahieve same thing?

Iam not sure bro... Im new at this hydro stuff. I do know that my plants LOVE an air bath. They have a bigtime growth spurt right afterwards,.. So, Im trying to recreate the scenario. I think direct air may be better, than liquid air..I might be wrong. Anyways, the experimental plant is thriving..no negative effects..:bigjoint:

Happy to see your pics:) looks like you may have given them a tad too much food. The weird curling of the leaves tells me that you gave em too much nitrogen. How far along are ya?
